The week came and went fast and both cousins were glad for different reasons.
Amber was glad that school would be in its full buzz. While Bailey was glad for no reason in particular. She was just being her normal carefree self and like a cherry on top, her mom had given no issue. She even made friends with one of Tiffany's dad's, Griselda's words.
And both cousins were at the mall.
Amber needed a wardrobe change and Bailey was forced to come with. She also needs a wardrobe change, according to Amber.
Amber couldn't take it anymore when she saw the range and style of clothing in her cousin's closet. Fit for a hired assassin or a serial killer.
So here they were, picking out clothes in the mall.
" You can never have too many dresses, can you Amber? " Bailey mocked seeing the stash of dresses she'd selected and she's not yet satisfied.
" I don't think I can. " Amber replied ignoring her cousin rude tease. How can someone like me have too many dresses?
She's so dumb.
" Fine. Please hurry up....."
" Calm your tits dude, we've only been here for an hour and
quarter. " Amber said inattentive, still indecisively eyeing a pretty red dress." I'll be at the shoe store. Take your time. "
" Yeah..sure... whatever. You too. " she replied still inattentive.
Bailey rolled her eyes and left.
She made her mind never to escort Amber to any mall or boutique or any thing related in her entire life.
She'd rather take a dude
They've been here for an hour and quarter! She had picked her clothes; hoodies, sweaters, overalls, jeans, shorts, jackets, blazer, camisoles, camos and shit in a span of half an hour and Amber was still being skeptical about a dress. Wow! She'd never get girls.
After minutes of shoe selection, she picked some pair of Nikes, Air, Vans, Jordans, converses and other brand designs that caught her eye.
She was set to go.
She met her cousin talking with a blonde dude. She watch them talk for a while. He gave her a fishnet black dress and said something that made Amber go full tomato in the face.
That was the scene Bailey chose to announce her presence. But she made it professional. She didn't know the dude, and from the way he checked her out she immediately placed him in her red zone.
" John, this is Bailey. Bailey, John. He is from our school, quarter back on the football team. " Amber introduced trying not to sound awkward as her cousin saw her blush all because of a hot dude silly tease.
" Are you set to go or you still want to pickup some skirts? " Bailey said to her cousin, blatantly ignoring John's eyes on her.
" No, heels. I shopped for skirts last week. "
John couldn't help but laugh at Bailey's expression. " At least she looks hot in them. ".
Bailey stared at him with a flat look.
" Dude, weren't you taught your
manners? " she said." Matter of fact, I was. " John stated mimicking Bailey tone and expression. Then he smirked, " I'm sorry if I offended you. " he said his expression softened.
" We're cool? " he said extending his arm for a handshake, smirking.Bailey eyed him. " Piss off. " she said with scorn.
" Well, heels are waiting to be purchased...... " Amber said trying to break through the tensed atmosphere. " Bye John. See you at school. " she said pulling her cousin with her.
