Bailey awoke with sharp pain in her abdomen, her head banged.
The headache was normal, but why the abdominal pain?
She checked her new alarm clock:- 4:15 pm.
Early.
But she was up and couldn't go back to sleep. She remained on the bed clutching her belly.
After a painful moment, the pain disappeared as if it was never there. She recited her morning prayers and headed into the bathroom.
She decided to use the shower not the tub since she wanted to save time, but immediately regretted once the ice cold water cascaded down her bare skin.
She shivered at the touch. She'd forgotten to turn on her water heater.
Too lazy to lazy to get out, turn it on and come back to come continue her bath, she ignored the cold despite knowing she might fall sick.
After a hurried shower, she stepped into her warm room then into her closet.
She caught her reflection on one of the wall mirrors. She smirked at her body figure.
Darn! I look incredibly hot. She mused then chuckled at her momentary insanity.
But she couldn't blame herself. It's the truth.
She knew what she suffered to get to this stage.
An invisible wind blew and she shivered again.
If not for her natural caramel skin complexion, she would have been white as a ghost.
She stared at her reflection again. Her tattoos definitely compliments her skin tone.
She took off her black ring from her right index finger and put it on the left and her silver one from her left middle finger to her left thumb.
Signature look for the day.
She applied her body lotion, deodorant, hair cream. She then put on her favorite lilac underwear with a matching white bra, camisole then camo jacket, black distorted denim and white Nikes.
She brushed her hair and re-straightened it, gave it a middle part and re brushed it. Cologne. Who
She observed her appearance in the mirror and smirked.
Only if she could let her hair down, she thought but she didn't want any disturbances; it flying about in the breeze. So she braided her waist length hair - I might be a tomboy but I love my hair - from the middle down to the tip. Put on a beanie: against the cold.
She checked the time again on her silver Gucci wristwatch:- 6:29 am.
.She applied the finishing touch which was the lip gloss on her cherry red, plump lips.
Finally she went downstairs into the kitchen to prepare breakfast of pancakes.
She ate eight. She's a breakfast person, not a glutton. Washed down with a glass of coconut milk.
She checked the time:- 6:45 am. She checked on her mom. And as usual, she is still sleeping. Luckily, today the door was unlocked.
She kissed her mother on her cheek and forehead.
" I love you. " she said in Latin and left.
She left a note filled with list of instructions for the nurse to see, read and follow when she arrives.
She knew she was being rude and disrespectful, but it's all part of the plan.
Let's see if the frog will actually bite before it reaches the wall.
She put on her helmet; as usual, safety first- and she drove off to school, for the last day of learning for the week.
