The weekend rounded up pretty nice.

Bailey, through the unwanted help from Mr Sean, found her mother a nurse.

She told Amber about it— not willingly though, but one conversation led to another and her cousin is a very persistent and stubborn person.

Well, a piece of advice from Amber; live your life stop the paranoid shit. And since the nurse's legal, leave everything as it is. Your mum can handle herself and I trust Tiffany's dads, Sean the most. Learn to accept help. He'll take good care of her, so! Stop working your over responsible ass and live life…

.... I mean you live life only once and......

Bailey hung up.

But her cousin was right. She's too much over protective or she has trust issues?

Nah, it's definitely the latter.

Well, the nurse starts on Monday, which is today.

Bailey got up from her couch when she heard the door bell.
The door opened and in entered Mr Sean and the nurse.

Bailey had a wary glance at her.
She was short; a bit below average. Red haired packed in a professional bun. Her facial features were small, appealing, soft and friendly.
Fear them most, Bailey thought.

With a fake smile, she greeted them. The nurse introduced herself as Marietta.

After some questions Bailey qualified her fit.

“ Where is my patient? ” Marietta spoke in her annoying tiny voice.

Patient? So my mom has become a patient? Bailey thought.

As if reading through her, “ Where's your mother, Bailey? ” Mr Sean asked.

“ She's still asleep. She's isn't a morning person. ” Bailey managed a reply still studying the nurse who intentionally avoided her eyes, focusing on Sean.

Bailey knew she was overreacting but she couldn't help it. She isn't always this paranoid or distrusting..... No! She always has trust issues....but not always this paranoid except when something bad wants to happen.

It just something about her. A tell, a gift— very annoying one but it's always right.

But there's a saying her father always said: your greatest fears always come to pass, better to let go and relax.

But that he never did.

He was a wise man but she wasn't that close to him, so Bailey didn't feel a sliver of emotion when he died.

But she knew she'd lost someone.

“ Is there anything I need to know about your mother, my patient? ” asked Marietta.

“ No. All her medicine files and records are right beside her bed. Help yourself to them. ” she said in a flat expression that masked her murderous one.

“ I think we can handle things from here. You should get going to school, else you'd be late. Take care. ”, Mr Sean said with a calm smile.

Bailey couldn't feel any more disgusted. “ You too. Call if you need anything. Or anything happens. ”

Do they even need to call? Because if anything happens, she herself, Bailey Isla Everstone, will kill Mr Sean's beloved daughter and him and make sure goody two shoes Marietta mourns for life.

Yes! She's too paranoid.

But hey! It's her mother in the picture. The only person she has left in this world.
