Chapter 4

Lee Haneul - 12:01 PM

She was shaking me and wrestling me and i fought back too.

She then opened her mouth to my neck trying to bite it...

I punched her jaw, causing her body to fly away from me. I looked at my hand and it was curled up into a fist and the back of my hand was all covered with blood.
" What is wrong with you?! " I yelled.
The student got back up and threw herself at me, but before she could get any close, I took my skateboard and bashed her head.

My eyes widened, as blood splattered everywhere. my skateboard, my bag, my uniform, on the concrete, everywhere.
The student just laid on the ground not moving. I was shaking, but then I felt myself getting lunge on the ground again.
There was another student, hissing at me, attacking me.

I shouted and kept on fighting back against the mad student. The guy tried to bite me but I covered his mouth with my skateboard and pushed him off me. " Get. Off. Of. Me! " I shouted. I went to him and kicked him in the stomach and swung my skateboard on his head.

Then it repeats, blood splashing everywhere, my face, my dented skateboard, on the concrete, on my hands. It was a nightmare.

I immediately gripped on my bag and my skateboard and looked at my surroundings.
Students were attacking students, ripping and biting their flesh off of their body.
I snapped back to my reality and started running.

I kept on running where ever my feet took me.
I looked around and saw two of my classmates going up a ladder to, I suppose our room. I tried to go after them, but the ladder fell because a mad student threw their selves at it.

" shit I need to go back inside the building. The outside is too dangerous. " I whispered to myself. I planned on putting the ladder back up and climbing through a window. That was the only thing I could think of, so I dashed to the ladder, swinging my skateboard whenever a crazy student lunges at me.

My running succeed and I was able to get the ladder back up. I hurriedly climbed the ladder, but I saw a student running towards me and he lunges at the ladder.
I didn't have no other choice.

JUMP!

I jumped off the ladder, perfect timing as the student came crashing on the ladder.
I didn't know where I was landing but the next thing I knew I landed in a glass window, shattering it and flying inside a classroom.
" AHH! " I heard student screaming and taking weapons or chairs trying to protect their selves.

" IT'S ME! " I yelled, raising my arms in the air to stop them from actually throwing chairs at me. I was catching my breath, exhaling and inhaling.
" Don't worry.. It's me.. Haneul. " I dropped to the ground from exhaustion.
Two figures then rushed to me, and I felt two pair of arms wrapped around me.

" Haneul! Are you okay!? You're covered in blood! " I heard Sunoo's voice.
" yeah never better Sunoo " I sarcastically replied. " did the glass cut you? " Jake asked.
I touched my cheek and a stinging pain came through me. I slowly stood up and sat on a seat.

" you weren't bitten, right? " a girl asked me.
I shook my head. " No, but I'm all bloody from bashing those thing's heads. " I told them.
" what are they? " another student asked.
" they look.. " a familiar voice spoke up, it was Jungwon. " they look like those people in the movie ' Train to Busan. " I finished Jungwon's sentence.

" meaning they're-" " They're zombies.. " Jungwon cut me off. " Yes, they're those flesh eating zombies we see in movies. " I added.
" you're right, what we see in movies, they should be in movies right now, why are they in our school? " a student asked in total panic.

" I don't know, but something serious might have caused this. " I replied.

Lee Heeseung - few hours ago - 11:38 PM

" Aish that kid never learns, she just keeps on cutting classes. " I shook my head turning my phone off. " something bothering you? " my friend asked. " Yes, my sister is just skipping classes again and she didn't even care when I tried to warn her something bad will happen if she gets caught. " I placed my phone inside my pockets and faced my friend.

" relax, I'm sure your sister can take care of her self, here I bought you milk. " my friend handed me a box of milk.
" thanks, sunghoon. " I said and drank the milk. Both me and sunghoon were at the gym that was seperated from the school building and it was located at the side of the school, and both of us were just talking and playing basketball, instead of eating our lunches.

" hey, you want to hang out after school? We can go to-" Sunghoon didn't get to finish his sentence, when a loud scream cut him off.
" what the hell? What was that? " I stopped playing and I walked to the window, when I got to look outside the window, I saw lots of students, running around, and other students attacking them.

" what the holy shit is going on right now? " Sunghoon said, panic visible in his voice.
" they're attacking each other, they look like fucking zombies. " Sunghoon added.
" Idiot! They are fucking zombies, just look at them! " I yelled. I took out my phone and Tried messaging Haneul, but she isn't reading and replying any of my messages.

" Sunghoon, I need to look for my sister. " I told him. " didn't she want to skip classes? She must be out of campus already. " Sunghoon pointed out. " shit you're right, but she isn't replying to any of my text messages. " I said panicking. " she might be still out there, please help me look for her. " I begged Sunghoon. " Fine, let's go. " the two of us was about to get out of the gym , suddenly the door slammed open and students started going in, preventing me and Sunghoon to go out.

" Close the door! " one student shouted.
There was six students in the room now, eight including me and hoon.
" No! No! Don't! " I shouted, making all the students look at me.
" I need to get out there right now. " I told them. " if we open the door, those things are going to run inside and kill us. " one student spoke up.

" But I need to-" " she's right, if you want to die then find an other way to die, don't drag other people okay? " a student said.
" I told you I have to get out- " I took a step closer to the student that was holding the door. " I will not let you-" " I need to get out there right now! " I yelled and held the students collar.

" Hey, Hey, Heeseung calm down. " I felt Sunghoon holding me back. I let go of the students collar and walked at the back of the gym, away from the others. " Heeseung, let's just hope that Haneul is okay, but right now we need to be cautious of our life too, just calm down okay? " Sunghoon said and patted my back.

I calmed down a bit and I massaged my temple.

Lee Haneul.. Please be safe, you better be safe....
