A little into the party a new keg king was announced, it was of course Billy.
"Hey Byers, heard you were the keg queen"Billy says, as walks up to me
"Wow Hargrove you have ears, amazing"I say, sarcastically
"Feisty, I like feisty"Billy smirks, I roll my eyes and go to walk off. When he grabs my waist, I see Steve start to come over but notices I have it under control when I grab his arm put it on his back
"Don't fucking touch me"I tell him. I walk off and Steve walks to Billy afterwards
"Forgot to tell you, that's Danielle 'the fierce' Byers, she has an attitude"Steve says walking off afterwards. I grab a drink from the drinks counter and start chugging most of it.
Afterwards I think I kinda regretted it, I think I drank a little too much. I start stumbling, when I see Billy smirk and make his way over to me while I walk outside out the front and wait for Steve and Nancy. When I see him outside tears running down his face
"Steve"I question, he looks up at me his eyes puffy and I soften a little bit
"Have you been drinking?"Steve asks me
"Yeah so?"I say stumbling towards him, almost losing balance.
"How much have you had?"He asks me
"I don't know 5 or 6"I say
"Jesus Danielle"He mutters and grabs me before I could fall
"I'm gonna take you home okay"He tells ne
"No, no Joyce will kill me"I say, he sighs. He puts me in the front seat and we drive off
"Alright Danielle, we're at my house alright"He tells me, I nod a bit feeling tired. He brings me inside and he pulls me into his room where he lays me down.
"Alright here put this on"He says throwing a shirt at me that hits my face which made me laugh hysterically, he couldn't help but smile a bit. I slowly start to take my costume off and Steve quickly turns around to give me privacy to change then I kinda flop back down.
"Alright Danielle,you're gonna be sleeping right here, okay"Steve tells me
"Okay..."I trail off. Until I slowly feel my eyes close
I felt myself wake up in a cold sweat, another dream from the upside down, I look down at my wrist which is still covered thankfully, my breath is still quick. I hear someone stir from the floor, Steve? Wait where am I. I then feel really nauseous and run to the first bathroom I saw. I notice a figure behind me, as I start to throw my guts up from the alcohol, someone holds my hair out of my face. I grab some toilet paper to clean up around my face
"Hey you alright?"He asks me
"Yeah"I reply, standing up and flushing the toilet. I go back to laying in the place I was before
"Steve"I say whispering
"Yeah what's up"He asks me
"Can you sleep up here, I just feel safer that way"I ask
"Uh sure Danielle"He responds softly, I layed back down as he awkwardly lays next to me but slowly gets comfortable.
Later that morning, I am startled awake by the body of someone and scream, making steve scream and tumble off the bed
"Jesus Harrington, you scared me"I say, clutching my chest
"Scared you, you scared me Danielle"He says. I slowly get up.
"Just get dressed Harrington so we can go to school" I say, I grab my jeans from last night and put them on
"What are you going to wear?"Steve asks me
"This to school, I have spare clothes in my locker"I tell him, he nods as I walk out into his living room. He took us to school and it was a pretty boring day of school.
