"Hey, Robin, Dani You gotta check this out. Check this... This... The ceiling, it's beautiful."Steve says looking up at the ceiling
"Oh, wow."Robin and I say, also looking at the ceiling. It then starts to get too much, starting to grunt and groan, we run into the bathroom and immediately throw up the contents of our stomach.We flush afterwards, just sitting in our separate stalls.
"The ceiling stopped spinning for me. Is it still spinning for you?" Robin asks us
"Holy shit."I say, after realising the ceiling stopped spinning
"No."Steve replies
"You think we puked it all up?"Steve questions
"Maybe. Ask me something. Interrogate me."Robin says
"Okay. Interrogate you. Sure.Um... When was the last time you, uh, peed your pants?"Steve asks
"Today."Robin answers
"What?"Steve says
"When the Russian doctor took out the bone saw."Robin admits
"That was like me, but with that huge ass needle"I giggle a bit
"Oh, my God."Steve sighs
"It was just a little bit, though."Robin says, joining in with my giggles
"Yeah, it's definitely still in your twos system."Steve says
"All right, my turn. Hit me."Steve continues
"Have you...ever been in love?"Robin asks
"Yep. Nancy Wheeler. First semester, senior year."Steve answers, I feel my heart drop
"Oh, my God. She's such a priss."Robin says
"Hm.Turns out, not really."Steve replies
"Are you still in love with Nancy?"Robin asks, I wait for the worst
"No."Steve responds
"Why not?"Robin asks
"I think it's because I found someone who's a little bit better for me."Steve admits, I feel my heart speed up
"First of all, she's hilarious. She's so funny. I feel like, this summer, I have laughed harder than I have laughed... in a really long time. And she's smart. Way smarter than me. You know, she can crack, like, top secret Russian codes and...You know? She's honestly unlike anyone I've ever even met before."Steve rambles on, I walk over to Robin stall and sit down, there is a silence
"Do you remember what I said about Click's class?"Robin asks, I feel intrigued by the new converation
"About me being jealous and, like, obsessed?"Steve questions
"Yeah. It isn't because I had a crush on you. It's because... she wouldn't stop staring at you."Robin admits
"Mrs. Click?"Steve says, confused
"Danielle Byers, I wanted her to look at me.But... she couldn't pull her eyes away from you and your stupid hair.And I didn't understand, because you would get bagel crumbs all over the floor. And you asked dumb questions. And you were a douchebag. And... And you didn't even like her at the time and get into fights with her and... I would go home... and just scream into my pillow."Robin rambles, I looked shocked by her statement
"But Dani is a girl."Steve says, still confused
"Steve."Robin only says
"Yeah? Oh. Oh. Holy shit."Steve realises.
"You know what Robin, if i didn't have these strong feelings for Steve, I'd definitely be feeling the same way"I admit to her, she looks shocked.
"I like both"I continue, she understands what I mean. Then we laugh and joke about Tammy Thompson another one of Robins crushes. Someone bursts into the bathroom while were laughing
"Okay, what the hell"Dustin exclaims, we stop then continue laughing. Soon the movie finishes and we slowly try to blend into the crowd, I'm kinda just staring around and zoning out, I then feel myself being dragged so I ran along with them. We quickly hide away from the Russians, we can hear them coming closer, I grab Steve hand in anxiousness and he holds it back, a car alarm keeps going off randomly, then I hear tumbling, we look up from behind the counter. I look up at the balcony, and see the kids. I've never been more glad to see them, they came down and ran and hugged Will tight
"Will it's so good to see you're alright"I say, holding him tight
"I'm okay Dani"He replies
"Ellie"Jonathan says, pulling me into a hug after I pulled away from Will
"I was worried about you"He tells me
"I was too"I tell him, we pull away and I hug Nancy too, I hugged everyone I missed everyone.
Suddenly El falls, we run to her worried, it was her leg, something was moving in the wound of her leg, we try to fix it the normal way, Jonathan cut the skin, blood oozing out. I turn away barely able to watch until she does it herself. The glass shatters behind us as she threw the thing in her leg when it was stomped on I look up to see Hopper, Joyce and Murray.
