That night I spent in the back with Steve just hanging out and talking
"Hey Dingus your children are here"Robin announces
"Again seriously"Steve sighs. He allows them through and into the movies. I laugh when Steve comes back
"Mother hen Steve at it again"I laugh at him. He scoffs at me
I kiss him quickly and shove him back out to the front counter.
The next day I was on Shift with Billy, I really dreaded it. The last time we had a shift, he kept making moves on me and it's really annoying. I sit up in the lifeguard chair across from the other one Billy was in and kept an eye out. All the moms there just oogled at Billy the entire time, grown ass women as well.
"Oi Billy stop flirting, get back to work"I yell out to him, I like how I can do that at least I got the position above him in this job, it's great. He gives me a look.
"No need to be jealous sweetheart"Billy retaliated
"You wish Hargrove"I say.
After work I head over to Steve's house for a nice movie night after our long shifts.
"We should watch the Karate kid, it's so good"I tell him
"You only like it for William Zabka"Steve replies
"No also Ralpha Macchio"I say, Steve looks at me and I laugh. I put in the movie and sit on the couch with him as he wrapped an arm around my shoulders cuddling close to each other.
"Happy is a really nice colour on you"He tells me, I smile and blush at him. He kisses me quickly going back to the movie.
The next day, I sat in the backroom once again. Just chilling there before my shift at the pool. When I heard a familiar voice outside. Steve rushes out
"Henderson"Steve says, Dustin laughs
"Henderson! He's back, He's back"Steve cheers
"I'm back"Dustin says
"You got the job"Dustin adds
"I got the job"Steve says, then immitates a trumpet. Then they do their handshake
"How many children are you friends with"Robin asks
"The thing is don't ask, were the babysitters"I tell her.
I then hear Dustin from the front shout about, a Russian code. For a while there Robin was just playing with my hair
"What happened there"She says, pointing to my neck
"I just burnt myself on the curling iron"I say
"Before going to a pool and 8 times?"She asks
"Harrington"I mutter
"Gross"Robin says, I then look at my watch
"Shit,I'm gonna be late"I say grabbing my bag
"See you later Dani"Robin calls, I wave to her and get into my car and head for the pool. I go into the change rooms and get on my lifeguard swimwear and wait for my shift to start.
I sit in the chair where I usually sit, I look over at Billy. He doesn't look to good.
After our shift finished, I follow after him into the shaded area
"Hargrove you good"I say, he turns to me. He looks drowsy and out of it
"Yeah fine"He responds, I nod and go to walk off when I have a grip on my wrist.
"I know what you are, a evil, demonic, freak, a killer"He says, I look shocked at his words
"I'm not who you say I am"I say
"I know you cover it everyday, 005"Billy says, I look even more shocked and panic. I'm in danger.
