Soap Seoul (Itaewon, Seoul) - March 2019
Before Taehyung could take any step towards the crowd, Jungkook stopped him by holding his forearm. "Hyung, don't do it."
"Why?" Taehyung countered, pushing his hand away. "Everyone here has signed non-disclosure agreements. There are no phones. And idols eventually will end up knowing."
The maknae lowered his voice to a whisper. "There are some outsiders too. Eun Woo's non-idol friends. They aren't the type who leak out information, since they have many idol friends, but," Jungkook's doe eyes sparkled in the dark club, "do you really want to risk it? For you and Tzuyu?"
That made Taehyung reconsider his decision of kissing her in public and marking her as just his. With a weary sigh, he ran his hand through his hair. "You're right." He tilted his head towards the 97 liners still talking about her. "What do I do about them?"
Jungkook scrunched his nose, and his eyes lit up afterward. "Just ask her for a dance. Tzuyu will obviously be comfortable around you than any other guy she's danced with. That'll send them a clue."
Taking his advice, he shook his head with new resolve and fixed his eyes on Tzuyu, her beautiful form moving with the music as the purple and blue lights danced over her figure. He walked towards her in long strides, decision made. He was nervous, but there was a flame building inside his chest.
When she saw him approaching, she gradually stopped her movements and shifted her head on to a side, a confused expression on her face. She was so close, and the sweat glistening by her collarbones created strange sensations in his legs. For a few long seconds, it just felt like him and her in the room, alone. It still baffled him how easily she made him forget about the world around him.
"Dance with me," he mouthed.
Slightly tipsy, Tzuyu only smiled in response and took the hand he offered.
"Oh my God , it's happening!" he heard Nayeon shriek nearby. "Ji-Hyo, get a camera!" Clearly she had forgotten about the 'no electronics' rule.
Tzuyu rested her arms over his shoulders, lacing her fingers together behind his neck and making her impossibly close to him. He responded by placing his hands on her hips, feeling his mind beginning to buzz and his heart threatened to explode at the sight of her breath hitching at his touch.
Passing him a sweet smile, she moved her body closer, closing every distance between them. Her chest against his, and her hips moved with his as she took the lead, making them move to the seductive music being played.
Bodies moved in the same directon, feet stepped at the same time. He whirled her around in the middle of their tango and he could feel the laughter bubbling in her chest. His foot chased hers with every retreat, and everytime he felt her press her body against his deliciously in movement, the flutters in his stomach turned into full-blown butterflies. They danced together liked they'd danced forever; their synchrony, the way their bodies molded perfectly.
When the beat dropped, Taehyung leaned forward and at the same time Tzuyu leaned back in his arms, his hand on her spine to support her as she moved in a right-to-left arc, and he pulled her upright sharply. She turned on the spot as she fell against him, her back now pressed against his chest and her hand reached out to hold him by the neck. He responded by placing a hand on her abdomen, pulling her closer to him, and he lowered his nose to her bare shoulders, breathing in her intoxicating scent. He heard her let out a satisfied sigh when his breath tingled against her skin. His heart raced with anticipation.
As the song was reaching its climax, he pushed her away, yet he held on to her left hand with his right, catching her as their arms pulled taut and spinning her out and away. Then he reeled her back in, unable to give her up.
