Six

"How do you plan on killing him tomorrow, Taehyung? You sound crazy."

Namjoon is the one speaking and though it may sound crazy right now, Taehyung doesn't care. Siwoo killed Yoongi— not expecting him to ever come back alive— and he will get his revenge for taking away the one thing he fought so hard for; his lover.

"He deserves to die," he coldy spits out as he writes angrily on a piece of paper. He's planning for the best and worst of outcomes while the other five watch him.

"You want us to kidnap Yoongi hyung?" Jungkook asks a bit shyly. "But what if Siwoo has friends or something that we don't know about? It's six versus god knows how many."

Taehyung shrugs as the rest nod their heads or stare blankly into the air.

"Don't know, but we have Hoseok."

Hoseok gripes, "Just because I can do spells doesn't mean I can control a whole war."

"Why not?" Taehyung asks, turning to look up at him. "You did it to all of us before. That day you guys confronted us about Yoongi turning into one of us. It wasn't that long ago, either— come on, keep up."

Again, Hoseok rolls his eyes and gripes more about how he isn't just some sort of grand old witch that can use big spells on people, but Taehyung turns back to his paper and ignores him, writing down stuff.

"We just need to get Yoongi," he mumbles. "If we get Yoongi, I'll be able to think of a better solution."

"Or," Namjoon suggests, "you should let us do the thinking. You're clearly out for blood, Taehyung-ah. It may seem simple and easy, but you can't just kidnap someone and kill another person right after. And we can't do this out in the open. We don't know where he lives, we don't know where he's keeping Yoongi—"

"I don't care!" Taehyung cuts him off abruptly. "I know it isn't easy and I'm not saying it is, but I will be getting Yoongi back and I'm killing that fucker whether it's in the school parking lot or in my backyard."

Namjoon points down at Taehyung's paper and argues back. "All you've written down is to kill Siwoo. How do you plan on getting Yoongi back alive with this sort of mentality? If you try and kidnap Yoongi— who's literally by Siwoo's side every second of the day— then Siwoo will kill Yoongi before you can get him, or he'll have someone else do it if you try and kill him. Or if you even succeed in kidnapping Yoongi first, then Siwoo will hunt us down and try to kill us."

"So you're saying there's no winning?"

"I'm saying we're gonna have to be more careful and plan more than this." He points at Taehyung's writing, which reads:

Rescue Yoongi. Kill Siwoo.

"You're in too much of a rush," Seokjin offers over Namjoon's argument, making him back away and exhale. Taehyung huffs as well. "Taehyung-ah, Yoongi is my best friend. You can't just throw together a to-do list and expect everything to work out by tomorrow. Let's just keep you at home, don't let Siwoo know that you're back, and make him think he can tease us for a little longer while we think of something to do. I'm afraid that if you show up, he'll think he's lost against Jimin."

Jimin is sitting next to Taehyung, silent as everyone else talks. But he finally sighs and speaks up.

"I'll make Siwoo think that he's really hurting me. Make him think you ran away and that he got the last laugh. You can stay here and think of ways to get Yoongi back and ways to kill him, if that's what you want to do."

Taehyung grips his pen hard. "Make him think that he's hurting you?" he asks. "He's already hurting me, Jimin."

Jimin frowns. "You know what I mean. Just think about it for a few days and then we can act on it. But with the way you're moving, you're wanting to go into the school tomorrow and kill him before the first class bell rings."

Taehyung wishes he could.

He wants to kill Siwoo and get it over with. He doesn't want to wait. He doesn't care what high schooler humans see. He doesn't care about anyone else. He doesn't care if students will be traumatized or if he chances humans knowing that vampires exist.

He just wants Yoongi safe and Siwoo gone.

"I just want him back," he murmurs.

"And you'll get him back," Jimin reassures him. But it's not reassuring at all. He's lost his love not once, not twice, but three times now. Nobody can reassure Taehyung anymore.

The only think that could possibly reassure him is if Min Yoongi is in safe hands. And right now, he isn't. Right now, Taehyung wants to kill the hands who has Yoongi hostage.

But his very own friends are holding him back from doing such a thing.

"Fine," he spits out, scratching his pen harshly against the paper to mark out his simple list, willing to fill the paper with a better plan. "But after a few days, I'll have this plan down, and I will be getting my baby back."

Jimin gives him a small smile.

"Good."
