They all gathered up in Seokjin's house and Taehyung had been trying to ignore the way Jimin curled into Seokjin's side, hugging him. He tried to ignore the jealousy creeping in him.

  It's not fair.

After all the things he's been through— he's happy for his best friend, don't get him wrong— but why the hell does he keep getting screwed over? Why can't he have his lover as well? Why is this the third time that he's had his lover taken away from him?

  It's just not fair.

And he really is happy for Jimin. He and Seokjin haven't kept their hands to themselves ever since Seokjin woke back up and Jimin had started crying and kissing him all over as if he'd disappear again. They were inseparable because after so many years, they finally got their push and they finally opened up to love each other once again, and that's amazing for them.

Taehyung wishes he could do that with Yoongi again so badly, though.

This was supposed to be Taehyung's main character moment. This was supposed to be Taehyung and Yoongi's love story; their happy ending. So where the hell did it all go wrong?

It went wrong because Yoongi's magic was still settling in. It went wrong because two wrongs don't make a right; two of Taehyung's mistakes have brought them to where they are now. Taehyung's greed for using magic to save Yoongi has come with a true price this time.

He just can't believe that Yoongi doesn't remember any of them. He can't wrap it around his head that Yoongi honestly has lost his memory.

"I missed you so much." He wasn't meaning to listen in on Jimin, who was whispering over to Seokjin, lips close against his ear. And he didn't mean to stare— didn't mean to be all up in their personal space, but nothing went to plan at all for Taehyung and it sucks.

Seokjin had his head rested against Jimin's and they looked so cuddly and content.

Fuck love.

If this is what's meant to be, then so be it.

"Hyung," Jungkook spoke up as he nudged Taehyung. The older hardly glanced in return. "What're we gonna do about Yoongi? T-That guy took him and- and Jimin hyung says he's a bad guy. What do we do?"

What could they do? Yoongi has no memory, and if that Si-woo guy really is out to get revenge, then he obviously has plans to make Yoongi believe that he isn't the bad guy, which leaves them to be the bad guys. They can't get Yoongi back. Not without a fight.

Taehyung is in no mood to fight, though. He'd do anything for Yoongi; to win Yoongi back, but he's worn out and doesn't know how to fight back. He doesn't know how to win Yoongi over again, because he's done it time and time again— when does it ever stop? Now? It could stop now.

"I don't know what to do..."

Namjoon scoffed. "We're getting him back regardless of any issues with this ex of Jimin's. That's our friend. Our friend." Seokjin nodded in agreement. "Do you guys think there's a way to help him gain his memory back?"

"Well," Jimin hummed, "let's just get Si-woo out of the picture. We don't need to let him get into Yoongi's head."

"Right," Hoseok agreed. "If he starts planting things in Yoongi's head, then that won't be good. Taehyung? What do you want to do?"

But Taehyung merely pulled himself off of the couch and shrugged helplessly. "I don't think I should do anything at this point. I shouldn't involve myself." He picked up his things as the others started to question him, but he shrugged them off as well. "Every time I try, it never goes well with him. You guys will have to help him gain his memory back. I'm going."

As he tried to leave, Jimin called out to him, but he kept on going, deeming it his own loss; his destiny. It just isn't meant to be.

He walked out of Seokjin's house.

"God," Jimin muttered, sitting straight up next to Seokjin, who had a reassuring hand on his back. "He's crazy. He should be winning Yoongi back right now."

"Ah, Jimin..." Seokjin patted at his back. "He's just in shock. I think we all are. We should rest and figure out what to do tomorrow." Jimin frowned back at him, but the older gave a small smile in return. "Yoongi is my best friend. I'm scared too, but hey, we'll get him back. Don't worry."

They shouldn't have to get him back in the first place. This is Taehyung's boyfriend; their friend. Yoongi is their friend.

Si-woo killed them with no intentions of either of them coming back to life. He deserves to die just like Kwan did. Taehyung deserves his boyfriend back and Seokjin deserves his best friend back— they all deserve to have Yoongi back.

"I'll talk to him tonight."

He wants all of his friends— and Jin..?— to be happy. Besides, he considers Yoongi a friend as well. They will get him back.
