Twenty-Six

The couple texts all their friends and tell them to come hang out tonight. Little do they know, Yoongi has amazing news waiting for them when they all arrive.

Taehyung makes blood shots for all seven of them, which makes Yoongi laugh as he watches. He says that Yoongi getting his memory back is something that Jimin will most likely claim that they need shots to celebrate with, so he goes ahead and makes them ahead of time.

One by one, they all arrive and each one of them questions Taehyung's shots, but Yoongi just stands off to the side and watches with a smile as Taehyung tells them, "You'll see."

"Is this my surprise party?" Jungkook asks, earning a snort from Namjoon and an eye roll from Taehyung.

"No," he states. "We already told you, you're gonna have too many birthdays, there's no way we're throwing you a surprise party every single year."

Jungkook crosses his arms and chuckles, amused. "Yet you and Jimin-ssi have thrown me a party every year since you met me."

"Stop calling me Jimin-ssi!"

"Guys!" Taehyung calls out, raising the shots to hand them out. "We asked you guys to come here because we have something important to announce." His voice is loud and clear as he steps over towards Yoongi, placing his hand on his lower back and facing their friends. He pats Yoongi's back as if to urge him to continue the announcement.

Everyone is silent as they look at the couple.

Yoongi raises his shot just above his chest and smiles wide as he notices the curiosity in everyone's eyes. He looks up at Taehyung and then over to Seokjin— he's still very emotional, very happy to see his best friend is okay.

"You guys ready for shots?" Yoongi leads with, and everyone raises their blood-filled shots, but waits for the next cue. "Min Yoongi's memory is back, baby. Fucking cheers!"

It's loud, the amount of roars and screams and happiness that seems to bounce off the walls of the tiny kitchen. Everyone goes nuts; Jimin smiles wide and cheers before taking his shot, Jungkook's eyes widen and he covers his ears as everyone goes crazy, Namjoon starts screaming out of joy, Seokjin and Hoseok both let out confused gasps and utter a million questions, but then they take their shots along with Yoongi before setting their glasses aside and then immediately, all the chaos physically comes towards Yoongi.

They hug, they bounce, they're so full of energy, and Yoongi smiles wider than ever as they all come into their first group hug as seven best friends. It feels incredibly nice and warm despite their lack of actual warmth. Yoongi finds it funny that seven vampires can create such friction— he swears they're sparking electricity under all these joyous bounces and hugs.

"How did it happen?" Seokjin asks over the sound of Taehyung and Jungkook crying. Yoongi pulls his boyfriend into his arms. The adrenaline must kick in or something. Or maybe Taehyung hadn't let it sink in just yet, but now he's so happy that he's crying into Yoongi's shoulder.

Yoongi's response is, "True love's kiss, of course."

Taehyung cries harder and holds him closer. "You're so cheesy. Please, my heart."

"You were the one who made the kissing curse," Yoongi reminds him. "You're the cheesy one, not me."

"You're both cheesy and grossly in love," Hoseok points out.

Yoongi smiles. "I know. I'm just really glad that everyone is okay." Taehyung lets his boyfriend go momentarily, knowing what he wants to do because he mentioned it earlier— Yoongi peels himself from Taehyung's hold and leaps hurriedly towards his best friend.

Seokjin welcomes Yoongi with open arms and now, the two cry into each other's arms as they hug tightly. "Yoongi, I'm so glad you're okay."

"I'm glad that you're okay, hyung. I can't believe we're so synchronized that we died together."

"Yah!" Seokjin chuckles wetly as they pull away from their hug, tears streaming down his face. Yoongi sees Jimin playing with Seokjin's hair to keep him relaxed.

"You two are cute together," he tells the oldest, smiling back and forth between the two. "It's nice to see you so happy, hyung. I don't think I've ever seen you glow like this."

Seokjin falls into Jimin's hold as Jimin wraps his arms around him, hugging him from behind and resting his chin on his shoulder. "Yeah, well, I could say the same to you. Even with your memory loss... You really love Taehyungie."

Yoongi turns to his boyfriend and feels so loved as he realizes Taehyung is right by his side still, watchful eyes on him. He reaches for his hand to hold.

"He's right, you know."

Taehyung grins. "You can say you're madly in love with me, baby. I don't bite."

Yoongi smiles softly and pulls him in to press a small kiss to his cheek. Taehyung's eyelashes flutter against his cheeks as he closes his eyes and takes it in.

"Well? Let's get this party started!" Jimin calls out, excited to celebrate. The others quickly agree, excited as well.

They celebrate all night for Yoongi.
