You

The weight of missing you
Is becoming too much to bare.
I cry myself to sleep, wake up with puffy eyes.
I tell myself we're stronger than this.
And we never are.
You make me remember that on rainy days there is still a rainbow, but without you there's only a gray sky.
A gray sky that I've become far too familiar with.
I love when the clouds move away even if for just a minute, so I can catch a glimpse of what used to be, and what could have been.
Missing you is crushing my spirit, though I'm fighting back with everything in me.
So maybe one day you'll find me again,
And I'll be sitting there like always,
Just waiting for you.
