The happening

Wow.
It finally happened.
I finally realized my worth.
And it actually was more than you,
Despite what I'd get told, I deserved better.
And now that I have it I won't let anyones emotions get in the way of what I deserve.
I've spent too long living my life to other people standards and opinions, but what about mine?
It's time for me to let go of everything that was holding me back and let what's happening happen.
Because no matter what it would've ended,
Maybe not so quickly but it was a blessing it did.
I'll get called every name in the book, but now I'm free to be with someone who actually appreciates me and puts me first. And I don't regret that at all.
It's all happening.
