The girl hasn't talked to Paxton since Tuesday. It's Friday. Carly tried so hard to understand where Paxton was coming from. After her talk with Eddie, she somewhat understood. Well at least how Eddie was feeling.

But we can assume Paxton is feeling the same thing as Eddie. Right? There's a reason why they were friends. But the girl couldn't fully understand Paxton, unless she talked to him.

Today was commitment day.

Lily waited for the girl to commit where she was going so they could sign off together. A few other seniors were seated next to them as they listened to each coach talk about each player. The gym was decorated with posters of each designated student's sport and where they're committing to.

She saw her parents, brother, Eddie, Eddie's mom and dad in the crowd. Her parents and aunts and uncles must be on their lunch break. The girl was surprised to see her brother show up. His school year ended so now he's back at home annoying the crap out of Carly.

But what she didn't expect was to see Paxton standing near the exit like he was ready to leave if the girl saw him. Except he didn't leave. He stood right there when she saw him.

After signing the commitment papers and taking a few pictures, she walked over towards the boy.

"Hey." Carly said.

"Hey." Paxton smiled. He felt like a dick with what happened. He shouldn't have blamed the girl for feeling insecure. "I'm sorry."

"You don't need to apologize Pax."

Paxton shook his head. "Of course I do. I shouldn't have blamed you for anything. I made a big deal out of everything. And when I saw how happy you were when you signed those papers, I realized how much of a dick I was."

Carly chuckled. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier."

Paxton shook his head. "It's cool. I wasn't lying when I said you're the one for me Carls."

"You're the one for me too."

"So what do we do?" Paxton asked, holding the girl's hand. Hers fit perfectly with his.

"The only thing we can do is long distance."

Paxton was afraid of that. He already had commitment issues, long distance? Oh boy. But he was changing. He can feel himself changing. And for Carly? He would walk the moon and back for her. "I'll try my best."

Carly smiled and pulled the boy into a kiss. She was aware they were in public, but she didn't care. She needed this. Paxton kissed her back. It's been so long since he felt her lips on his. They were interrupted by a loud cough. They both quickly pulled away to see angry Brennan and Jason Tan glaring at the boy.

Oh shit.

Paxton Hall Yoshida was gonna get his ass kicked by the girl he loves' dad and older brother.

This should be fun.
