A hand velvet hand touched my back. I was too comfortable to move being curled up facing the wall.
"Molly I don't want to talk about it now..." Surely Kellin had told her and Robert. The cold air moved into my bed as the duvet was pulled up. Inhaling, I could smell the same, familiar sweet scent, Kellin. He didn't say anything but his hands moved around my waist and held me tight. We laid in silence.
"I'm so sorry." I knew it wasn't his doing.
"It's fine," I turned round to face him and put my hand out, stroking his cheek. He edged forward and kissed me unhurriedly and sweetly.
"I have no feelings towards Amy, at all."
"I know."
"I'm not going to let that girl ruin what we have." I kissed him again, that made me frankly very happy.
"I wish I could stay but I need to go now before lessons finish and everyone's about. Molly let me in by the way."
"Alright," I made a mock sad face.
After he'd left Molly came running in. "I'm going to have her neck when she comes back here!"
"Molls it's okay. I'll find my moment don't you worry." Amy didn't come back again that night. We suspected that she'd be around town sleeping with any guy she could find.
