"HELP... SOMEONE!" I could hear nothing but rain, slapping the ground and the occasional wave of thunder. I wrapped my arms around him, holding him in my embrace. I traced my eyes down his body. There was a rip in his shirt just above his waist. Surrounding the rip was a dark maroon patch... My hands trembled as I lifted his shirt. Oh my God. Blood flowed from a deep wound above his waistline near to his hip. I squeezed my eyes shut, hoping that when I opened them, it would have all been in my head. But no, I knew it was real. How did this happen?! My heart was frantic. "It's going to be okay baby," I sobbed "stay with me." I searched his pockets; finding his phone, I dialed 999.

"Hello, you've reached the emergency services." I tried to stop crying so that I could speak... "M-My..."

"Miss? Try and stay calm, what's happened?"

"My b-boyfriend. I think he, he's been stabbed"

"Is he conscious?"

"No, please help him."

"Okay, where are you?"

The street name, what was it....... "Oh God..." hurry brain, hurry. "Laurley Way! But there's a turning, find the street then there's this entrance into te woods! We are in the woods!"

"All right, I'm sending an ambulance right now."

"O-kay"

"Are you okay Miss? Are you hurt?"

"No I'm fine," loud sobs escaped my mouth.

"What's your name?"

"Scarlett. Scarlett Collins"

"Scarlett, he's going to be fine, the ambulance will be there soon."

It went quiet; looking at the phone it had died too. I put it in my pocket. "Kellin," I spoke quietly, kissed his lips softly and stroked his hair. He was so cold.

"Don't you dare leave me." Holding him against me again it gave me comfort feeling his chest moving. "Who did this to you? Why would they do this...?" I longed to see those beautiful green eyes and his heart stopping smile. I closed my eyes, thinking about what we'd been through, "You have no idea how happy you make me feel, or how much I love you... You're my world. I need you." I kissed him again. A tear brimmed in my eye and I almost choked on the strange pain in my throat. "Without you, I would have let myself go over the edge, I wouldn't be here today. You saved my life Kellin Evans; I love you." A long pause.

"I... lo... love... you...too"

"What?" I opened my eyes; looking down at him his eyes were half open.

"Kellin!" I cried, holding his face, stroking his cheek with my thumb. He gave a weak smile. "Did you hear what I said?" He nodded. Tears trickled into my smile. "Don't you l-leave me okay. You hear me!"

"I...never ever...want...to leave you Scar" I leant down and kissed him, his hand moved up and held my face and I moved my hand over his.

"D-don't c-cry," his voice was faint. This made it impossible to stop crying. He drifted back into unconsciousness.

"Where the fuck is this ambulance?" I scrunched my free hand into a fist and rammed it into the ground. Suddenly I saw a light. The funny thing was, was that I don't even recall hearing the ear piercing sirens wailing, that sound that meant things were going to be okay, we were safe now. Two paramedics ran towards us.

"Where is he hurt?" I lifted up his shirt revealing the incision. "Get the stretcher" he instructed the other man.

"What happened?"

I shook my head "I don't know. I just... found him like this."

"Okay, well he has evidently been stabbed which is all we can assume right now. How long has he been unconscious?"

"He was just awake, but before that, nearly an hour I think"

"All right, what is his name?"

"Kellin Evans."

The man with the stretcher arrived and they began by moving him, lifting him up onto the stretcher. I followed closely, finding it hard to walk because my legs were shaking as they wheeled him away. I jumped into the ambulance behind him. "What is your relation to Kellin?"

"My name is Scarlett Collins, I'm his girlfriend."

"Okay Scarlett, sit there" He directed me to a seat next to where Kellin lay on the stretcher. I took his hand whilst they worked around him. "He's lost a lot of blood," I heard one of the men say to the other. "We need to hook him up to a blood supply immediately." A needle was put into his arm and secured with tape supplying blood whilst a plastic mask was put over his mouth to supply oxygen and normalize his breathing. I felt so helpless. "Is he going to be okay?"

"I think so, had we arrived any later we may have lost him." The thought of that was completely heart breaking. I don't know how I would cope... It's too sad to even think about.

The paramedic cut off his shirt revealing his beautiful bloodied body. The stab wound looked a lot worse and deeper under the clean white light. I skimmed my fingers across his knuckles and felt him grip my hand slightly. He was still there, he's still with me, and he's fighting this.
