"Wake up." I felt a warm breath on the side of my neck. "Wake up." The voice came as a whisper. My heart fluttered as a soft pair of velvet lips pressed against my cheek. I slowly opened my eyes to see where I wanted to be. I was lying in Kellins arms. I looked up at him, he was beaming down at me. "Where am I?" I asked, I felt completely painless. I felt weightless, like a bird flying high above the clouds, the cool soft air encircling my whole body as I stretched out my legs.
"You're here, with me, for now." He still spoke as a whisper, his voice was tender and comforting. "What do you mean for now?" His eyes dropped, they lost their glossy glow. "Scarlett, you need to wake up."
"What? I am awake." He didn't respond, he shook his head slowly. "Kellin I am awake! I am! What are you talking about?"
"Please Scar, do it for me." He stroked my face, as if he had not heard what I had said. "You need to wake up, right now, or it will be too late."
"I am awake, I am!" A gleaming tear rolled down his cheek.
"I'm awake! I am! I am!" I squirmed around in a fit of rage. I was no longer in his arms. He was further than my reach. Everything in my sight turned from white to raven. Kellin disappeared in the darkness and I found myself unable to breathe. Water. Water. Water.
