ADAIR CONNELLY
I always described billie as a fairy, or Snow White even.
when you think of fairies, you think of small, elegant, beautiful, selchouth. something unfamiliar, rare, yet so marvelous .
that's billie, there is nobody like her.
she was rare, unrepeatable.
she was never meant to be replaceable.
she made me feel forelsket; the beautiful feeling you experience when you are falling in love. every single time I saw her, it was like falling in love all over again.
and her love for animals was admirable. she loved everything and thought everything was beautiful, it's something to admire.
she always had a sense of brightness, calmness, good energy and happiness radiating off of her.
which is why it was so shocking to see her mad for the first time, she was so mad over a rude man she accidentally bumped against on her way to the cafe, he spilt liquor on her new skirt and cussed her out.
"look" she said with a pout, "I got it yesterday and now you didn't get to see it without the stain, it's pretty. I promise" her words made my heartache in admiration.
she truly was the cutest.
"I know billie, you still look very pretty and we can get this fixed okay?" I asked her, which she only nodded to but the pout stayed on her face, "we will take it to the dry cleaners but first let's go and get you another skirt" I said get up and put my hand out for her.
she couldn't contain her little smile as she took my hand and we left the cafe but not without her saying her goodbyes to the cats that she loved so much.
her persona was my one of my favorite in the world.
as we walked hand in hand, palm to palm down the sidewalk of New York's streets. I couldn't help but stop, which made her also come to a stop, peaking over at me. her eyes looked at me and back at the small flower store behind me.
her eyes looked at me confused and behind me since she just couldn't contain herself, I leaned forward to press a kiss on her forehead that was covered by her bangs.
that was the first time I had ever done anything besides hug her or hold her hand and it left her face red with blush, a nervous giggle left her throat as she hid her face by stepping forward and pressed her forehead to my shoulder with giggles.
"what was that for?" she asked peaking up at me.
"I just couldn't help myself, I'm sorry if I overs-" I went to apologize but she pushed her forehead towards me again while her big blue eyes gazing up at me.
I laughed a little bit but still went ahead and gave her many kisses while she had a big smile with her eyes closed.
"don't ever apologize for giving me forehead kisses, I love them" she said with her small hands holding onto the sides of my shirt tightly as if she wasn't ready for me to step away.
"good" I muttered giving her one last kiss on her forehead and took her hand in mine again to continue our walk to get her a new skirt.
END OF THE CHAPTER.
