my first time meeting her brother wasn't intensional.
he had came looking for billie knowing how she always at the cafe and he just so happened to find me sitting with her and laughing.
their bond was the most beautiful thing ever.
they were close, being in love in a non romantic way is a real thing and they're an example of that. just platonic love and admiration that has nothing to do with being romantic or sexual.
simply being in love with who your loved one is, in a platonic way.
I admired their bond, I have always wished to have a sibling and if I did, they're an example of how I would like our relationship to look like.
"Adair, this is my brother, finneas" billie said with a big smile as she pat the seat next to her for her brother to seat.
that day we spent as the three of us instead of two, that was also the day I gained a friend.
the way billie's eyes light up when they would tell a story but get permission before taking over and finishing off the story with wide eyes and bouncing on her seat with excitement.
or how she would lean over to me with her forehead first for me to kiss her forehead and she would sit back in her seat with rosy cheeks while patting the cat on her side.
forehead kisses were her favorite thing.
she would stop me mid sentence to give her a forehead kiss or standing in front of me for me to kiss her, which was easy with the height difference.
"so this is where you get all those flowers you bring home" finneas stated after watching billie play with her single daisy I brought her today.
her cheeks flushed with blush again as she nodded while shyly peaking over at me, "adair brings me one every Friday" she finished her sentence with a proud smile that made me smile.
"they make her happy" I shrugged at finneas making him shake his head with a genuine smile, "I came here to let you know that mom and dad wanted to talk to us before they left" finneas said making billie pout.
"now?" as soon as he nodded, her shoulders slump as she pouted at me. "but I am not ready to leave yet" her words came out as a wince.
"neither am I but I will see you next friday yeah?" I asked standing up, she stayed pouting as she stepped forward to hug me, I wrapped my arms around her with my head on top of her head.
"I will see you next week" I muttered kissing her forehead, she stepped back holding my hands before she pushed herself up to kiss my cheek.
"I will see you next week" she said taking her belongings and gives me a wave while exiting the cafe, left me with red cheeks stood there.
