There she is. Her right foot leaning against the wall, hands in her pockets, all confident, all sexy. She looks at me and I can see the look in her eyes changing, becoming softer.
"Hi Rookie."
"Hi Captain."
"No, tonight all you get is Leah, not the captain."
Fuck. How does this sound so sexy?
"So, what are we doing here?"
Leah puts her arm out. She is holding a set of keys.
"Keys?" I ask a little confused
"Hmhm. Keys for the hydro room." You can see she is enthusiastic. She looks around to see if anyone can see us before she opens the lock and letting us both in. She closes and locks the door behind her.
"I figured, after last night and the training we had today, our bodies could use some relaxation, so I got us the keys and the jacuzzi is all set for us to jump into." She points towards the jacuzzi. I see it's already running. I walk towards the jacuzzi, I see there are 4 big scented candles and 2 champagne glasses on the edges. She really put in some effort.
"I know we can't drink tonight, so we will just drink sparkling water from those glasses."
"Leah, I'm impressed."
"Wait until you hear my music coming from the surround system we have here." She gives me a wink. I look at her walking around, doing the last few things to make this perfect. She connects her phone to the music station, her music filling the empty space. She walks towards me while Chris Brown -Under the influence sounds from the speakers.
"You have your swimwear on?"
"Yes."
"Take of your clothes." She looks at my body from head to toe.
Oh my god, what is she up to. I just go with the flow, not sure what to expect but I like this side of her. I get my clothes off, I stand in my bikini. Leah is undressing as well, it's hard not to look at her perfect body. She reaches out her hand. "Let's get in, water should be the right temperature right now." She guides me to the jacuzzi, we both get in, feeling the warm water against our bodies."The Jacuzzi isn't the only reason I invited you tonight." She puts her elbows on the edge, sitting on the seating area on the opposite side of where I'm sitting and looks at me. I look back at her, staring straight into her eyes.
"I wanted to talk to you, get to know you and well, let you get to know me. There are a few things I want to share with you without other people listening."
"I like the sound of that."
I can see she gets a bit shy. She looks down at the bubbles in the water.
"My family always talks about their feelings, it's something I grew up with. I always listen to what I'm feeling, a lot of things make me feel. Music makes me feel. Football makes me feel. Looking into your eyes makes me feel." She gives me a smile.
I smile back at her. Trying not to interrupt her, I don't say much.
"You should know what happened between Jordan and me. She was the love of my life, we had our ups and downs like every couple of course. After the World Cup things changed quickly, popularity increased, people wanted to know everything about us and our personal life and all the press who made up stories, it was a very difficult time. It started to go downwards when Jordan got her injury, I wanted to help her but I didn't knew how. She didn't accept the ways I tried to help her, for some reason we just didn't understood each other anymore. The press putting so much pressure on us as well, wanted to know if we dated or not. I don't want my love life to be in the centre of attention, I want football to be in the centre. I want to make a change for young girls. That's what I want to be known off, the way I play and the way I got this far, not for who I love. We really tried for almost 1,5 years but our relationship didn't survive the pressure. We broke up because of it. As you might know we play together at Arsenal, seeing her almost every day was really hard. We didn't break up because we fell out of love, this is the reason it took me this long to heal."
She opens up completely, let me see right through her soul. I love every bit of it.
"I want you to know I need time. I need time to figure out how to handle everything you make me feel. I want to be honest with you, at first I thought this was just a flirt you know, enjoying the attention you give each other. Last night made me realise this is so much more. When I pulled you closer to look at the falling stars, that's the moment I knew for sure."
I can't help myself, I need to ask her this question.
"Then why did you tell me this morning you didn't regret not kissing me?"
"I don't want us to kiss without you knowing how I feel, how I might react. I'm not sure if I'm ready."
"Thank you for you honesty. I'm not going anywhere, I want you to take the time you need and we'll see where it takes us. And to be honest, a first kiss is something you will always remember about a person so it better be a good one, not while I'm having a little too much to drink because of my nerves and you were completely sober." I give her a smile.
"Is it the actual kiss that will stay with you forever or the feeling the kiss gave you?"
"The feeling, for sure! But if someone, for example, isn't that great of a kisser the feeling the kiss gives you won't be worth remembering, right?"
She looks at me, I can see she is processing the words I just said.
"No pressure there, Rookie."
"Oh, so, you DO want to kiss me then?" I say to tease her.
"For the record, it truly took everything I got not to kiss you last night, It still does."
"I feel it too." This is all I can say at this point. My heart is racing. Just the thought of kissing her drives me crazy.
"I know you do. I can see it in your eyes." She moves through the water, making her way towards me while she looks me into my eyes. I shake my head, I can't believe this is happening.
"No?" She asks a little insecure.
I give her a smile as I grab her hand, pulling her closer. Her body coming closer and closer. She puts her hands on my shoulders, I feel her legs touching mine as she takes place on my lap. My hands touching her back, holding her. Our eyes are still locked into each other. The tension between us is exceptional.
"Could you grab my glass of water please?" You can hear my voice is shaking. I need a break from this tension. Leah leans forward to reach for the glasses, her body pressed against mine, I tilt my head back to give her some more space. I take a deep breath, I can see she gets goose bumps where I exhaled my breath. She stops moving.
"Fuck." She says under her breath.
I can feel it through my entire body. How is this possible? 1 word. She says 1 word and it travels from my ear to my toes, touching every nerve in between. Leah leans back, giving me my glass of water while drinking her glass in one go. I take my time to drink the glass and give it back to her without saying a word.
"Well, well, Miss Lewis, you got any more demands?" She is teasing me.
"Actually, Miss Williamson, I would love it if you just put the glasses back from where you got them. I want to feel your body close to mine again." I can see the look in her eyes change. She bites her lip as she looks down and softly shakes her head. She leans forward, very slowly. Her body finding it's way to mine again. Feeling her wet skin touching mine, she puts the glasses as far back as possible. She slowly moves back, stopping halfway through. I can feel her breathing changing. Her head moving to the side.
"Anything else you need?" She whispers in my ear. My heart skipped a beat.
"Fuck Leah." I say under my breath. "Please kiss me." I look at her while I say these words. She moves back so she sits on my lap again. Her hand touching my cheek, her finger moving from my jaw to my chin. She lifts my chin so she looks me straight into my eyes. "I would love too." She comes closer. It feels like time is slowed down. Her lips almost touching mine. My hands run over her back, my fingers touching her skin. Our lips meet, pressing onto each other, she opens her mouth letting my tongue find it's way to hers. I can hear a moan coming from her as she pushes her body even closer to mine. She runs her fingers through my hair, pulling it softly, making me moan. She breaks our kiss. We both take a second to catch our breath. Not saying anything, just looking at each other. I have never been kissed liked this before, the passion is incredible. She smiles at me as she goes in for another kiss. Our tongues meet again, her body against mine, moving up and down on the rhythm of our kiss. I can feel her nipples getting hard against my chest. Moans escaping our mouths. I hold her body as I move from the seat, letting our bodies flow through the warm water without breaking our kiss. On the background I hear Ruth B & Slater - Dandelions the slowed version. Leah starts to dance with me to the song, our tongues still dancing their own song, expressing everything we have felt over the last few days. I've never experienced anything like this before.
"Fuck, you drive me insane." Leah whispers while she puts her forehead on mine. Her breathing is almost out of control.
"Breathe." I show her how she should breathe, holding her body close to mine, making her feel my breathing. We hold each other for a while, letting all the emotions sink in.
Suddenly we hear a knock on the door. Shit. I look at Leah. What do we do? I mean I think they can hear the music on the other side of the door.
Another knock.
"Leah?" It's a familiar voice.
Leah sighs, she seems relieved.
"Yeah, I'm coming." She looks at me. "You okay?"
"Yes, I am okay. Are you?"
"Definitely." She walks towards the door and opens it. I try to see who is on the other side, but i cannot see who it is.
She talks for a few seconds before she closes the door again.
"Sorry Rookie, our time is up."
"Who was that?"
"Alice."
"Alice? From reception?"
"Yes, she owed me a favour so she gave me the keys, her shift is almost over so we need to give the keys back. Time has flown by. You know what, I'll clean up, you go back to your room before you get questions from your roommate." She gives me a wink.
"I wouldn't mind helping you."
"I know but it's not necessary. Just don't tell anyone about this ok?"
"Sure, my lips are sealed."
I walk up to her, I give her a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you for tonight."
"Pleasure was all mine." She gives me a smile as I walk out the door.
