31. Starting 11 announcement

I open my eyes and I see Leah is still sleeping, I'm afraid to turn around because I don't want to wake her. I take a deep breath. I've never been so in love. I should ask her to be my girlfriend, I have to come up with a gesture or something else to show her this is real. I see her eyes open slowly.
"Good morning beautiful." I say to her.
"Good morning baby." She says with her sleepy voice.
She groans and puts her arm around me, holding me close.
"Morning love birds." Keira says from the other bed.
I turn around so I can look at her. "Morning. You slept okay?"
Leah crawls up behind me. I don't think I will ever get sick of this feeling.
"I did. You?" Keira asks.
I give her a smile.
"Never mind, I already know the answer." She says while laughing.
Leah sits up so she can see Keira too. "Morning mate." She stretches and touches her neck.
"Morning, looks like you should go to physio for a good massage." Keira says.
"Maybe I should." Leah replies while cracking her neck.
"AH! We had a deal!" I scream.
Leah starts to laugh. "Shit, I forgot. Yes, we do." She gives me a smile and turns to Keira. "Well, looks like I don't have to go to the physio after all, Dani will massage my neck."
Keira just shakes her head. "You two are unbelievable."
"Nah, she is." Leah says while pinching my cheek.
"You coming to breakfast? Or shall I pick up Georgia and distract her a bit longer?" Keira says while giving us a wink.
"Would be great if you could do that mate, I will go to the restaurant and get Dani and me something to eat."
I'm just lying in bed, listening to them talking and coming up with a plan. Keira really is a good friend, the way she helps out wherever she can. Leah looks at me and smiles.
"You okay with that?"
I've got no idea what she means but I nod my head anyway. Looking at her gives me butterflies in my stomach. Leah climbs on top of me to get out of bed, giving me a naughty smile when she is right on top of me. I can't help but smile. She walks to the bathroom and I hear her brushing her teeth and talking with Keira. Leah walks out and puts on her sweatpants. She walks up to me.
"I'll be right back baby." She gives me a kiss on my forehead before leaving the room with Keira.
I stretch and put my arms behind my head. How did I get so lucky? Look at me, at the Lioness camp with Leah beside me, getting me breakfast and taking care of me. Keira who is always there for us, Beth who is always in for a laugh, and all the other girls who are so supportive. I smile like an idiot before I get out of bed to freshen up in the bathroom.

I hear Leah opening the door. "Room service, you better be in bed."
I run through the room and jump onto the bed. Leah clearly saw me running and is laughing at me from the hallway.
"Good. Now get undressed." She looks at me with a naughty look on her face.
"I thought we were having breakfast?" I say as I take off my shirt.
"Oh. We are." Leah says with a smile.
Damn. How does she do it? My breathing is already accelerating, just by the look of her standing there and looking me into my eyes. The tension in the room is indescribable. Leah puts the plate with breakfast on the nightstand. She takes off her clothes, all she has on now is her hipster. My eyes go slowly up and down, looking at her perfect body while I bite my lip.
"Damn. You are stunning." I whisper as I get up to walk toward her.
She comes closer and lays her hand on my chest, slowly pushing me back, and forcing me to sit on the bed. She puts her knees next to my hips and takes place on my lap. Her hands are going through my hair as she looks me deep into my eyes and smiles.
"You are beautiful Dani."
I reply by giving her a kiss on her lips. Her soft, perfect lips. My one hand holding her ass and my other hand holding her back so she doesn't fall off my lap and I can keep her close to me. The kiss gets more intense and I can hear her breathing speeding up. She is feeling the same as I am feeling. Fuck. She turns me on so much. She leans back and breaks our kiss, leaving me wanting more. She smiles as she can see I wasn't done kissing her. She doesn't say a word and lets her eyes speak. She puts her hands on my shoulders and pushes my body into the bed. She moves her hips up and down, her body pressing and moving against mine making me moan. She is so sexy.
"Fuck." She says as she comes in for a kiss. I can't help but laugh a little, making her stop kissing me.
"Why are you laughing?" She says with a smile.
"The way you said Fuck and came in for that kiss, it was so sexy and sounded so frustrated at the same time."
"That's exactly how I feel right now. I want you Dani."
"I want you to Leah. You've got no idea." I look into her eyes.
She comes in for a kiss and I can feel all her frustration coming out. She is kissing me with so much passion. I can barely contain myself, I want to feel all of her. My thoughts get interrupted by some kind of alarm. Leah stops the kiss.
"Damnit." She says.
"What's going on?" I ask her.
"I set my alarm, so we would still have time to eat something before we need to go to the gym." She says as she grabs her phone to turn off the alarm.
"Smart."
"I don't want to stop kissing you.. why is time moving so damn fast when we are together?"
"It's so unfair." I take a deep breath.
"It really is." She gives me a soft kiss on my lips before she sits next to me.
Leah grabs the bowl of fruit and a granola bar from the nightstand. She also gives me a cup.
"Hope it's still warm.. I got you a coffee."
"Thank you baby." I smile at her and take a sip, it's not warm anymore but who cares. She got me coffee, she is the sweetest.
We are both eating breakfast but our eyes are still locked, still longing for each other. We haven't said much.
"What time is it?" I ask her while I take the final bite of my granola bar.
She looks at her phone. "We still got 10 minutes."
"Go sit on the edge of the bed." I tell her.
Without complaining, she does what I ask her. "Now what?" She asks curiously.
I sit behind her. "I still owe you that massage."
"We got 10 minutes and you want to massage me?" She says with a smile.
I grab her hair and pull her back gently, her back pushing against my breasts as we slowly fall back. Her ear is right in front of my mouth. "Are you complaining miss Williamson?" I whisper in her ear. She gasps as my lips touch her ear.
"I wouldn't dare, I just figured you would want to do something else.." She says softly.
My left hand is still holding her hair so she can't move back up, my right hand moving from her chest to her belly, I can feel the goose bumps appearing on her body. Her breathing goes faster as my hand goes in between her legs.
"Like this?" I ask her.
"Hmhm." She says.
My hand moving to her panties, fuck, she is so wet. She moves her hips ups so I can get even closer.
"Leah, I don't want to fuck you for just 10 minutes." I whisper in her ear.
"You don't?" She says with a raspy voice.
"I want to fuck you all night long." I say as I put pressure on my fingers, touching her more intensely.
She moans and her body moves. Fuck. I stop and let go of her hair. She lets her body relax and fall into mine.
"Fuck Dani. This is not fair."
"I know." I tell her.
She sits up and looks over her shoulder so she can see me. "But, I agree. I want all of you, all night long." She gives me a smile.
"Ok. Look forward and let me massage your neck for a few minutes."
She starts laughing and does as I ask her. I start rubbing her neck and release some of the tension she is feeling.
"Times up. We should really get going if we want to be at the gym in time." I tell her.
"I wish we could stay here all day." She says while looking at me.
"Me too baby, me too." I say as I get up and put my clothes back on.

We hurry ourselves to the gym. I really don't like being late.
"We are late." I tell Leah.
"I know." She says with a smile. "Don't worry so much."
"What will they think if they see us enter together?"
"You go first and I'll come 2 minutes later." Leah says.
"Ok. See you in 2 minutes." I smile at her.
She nods at me and I enter the gym.
"Just in time Dani, we were about to start our first session." Sarina says.
All the girls are looking at me. Keira is smiling because she knows why I'm late.
Russo walks up to me. "I was looking for you at breakfast."
Shit! I totally forgot! I was supposed to meet her for breakfast.
"Oh shit. I'm so sorry. I overslept and didn't have time to go to breakfast."
"Did you eat something? You can't train without fuel." She says concerned.
"You are sweet. Yes, I did. Lunch together?" I ask her.
"Deal." She smiles at me.
Leah enters the room. "Sorry, I'm late girls!" She immediately says. She walks up to Sarina and starts to talk to her. I shouldn't focus on Leah so much.
"You want to start off with the spin bike together?" Russo asks me.
"Good idea, let's go." I smile at her as we walk towards the bikes.
"Hi lekkerding." Beth says while sitting on one of the bikes.
"Hi schatje." I say to her, making her laugh.
"I know what that means." She says with a smirk.
"I know you do." I tell her.
It can't be a coincidence that Beth is riding the spin bike and Russo wanted to start here, right? I bet there is something going on between those two.
"Dani, you ready for some tests?" A staff member asks while holding a clipboard.
"Yes I am, muscles are all warmed up." I say as I get off the bike. "See you at lunch." I tell Russo while giving her a wink. She smiles at me and nods.
I am completely focused on my tests and make sure I don't get distracted by Leah. Although our eyes do meet in between the exercises, she is the first thing I look for in a room.

After our gym time, we all go to the dining room to get lunch. I take a seat next to Russo.
"How did your test go?" She asks me.
"Good, nothing to worry about."
"I wouldn't expect anything else to be honest. You look so fit."

I look at her and smile. "Thank you."
I scan the room for Leah and I see her sitting with Georgia and Keira. Our eyes meet and I give her a slow wink, she drops her fork which is making me laugh. Russo is looking around to see what I'm laughing at.
"Can I ask you something?" I say to distract her.
"Always."
"Could you love someone in the dark?"
"In the dark, you mean loving someone in secret or having a relationship in secret?"
"Loving someone in secret, haven't we all done that at some point in our lives?"
Russo gets a shy smile and looks down while nodding her head. She is so busted right now.
"Having a secret relationship, I'm all for it. I don't like to share with the world who I'm dating, it's none of their business. I know some people don't care but I do. I prefer to have a secret relationship." Russo answers.
"Isn't it hard sometimes then?"
"Yes, but all the media attention surrounding your relationship would be hard too."
"I agree."
"Why are you asking?"
"I was just being curious." I say as I smile at her.
"Girls, I just made the lineup for tomorrow's match." Sarina says as she walks to the front.
Sarina starts naming the 11 who start the game and I can hear my name. WHAT? Starting 11? Really? Russo puts her arms around me.
"I'm happy for you Dani." She says as she tightens her grip.
The other girls are cheering and clapping for me as well. I feel a little shy. Sarina is giving a small speech. All of a sudden I feel two hands touching my shoulders, I immediately know it's Leah. She leans forward and whispers in my ear.
"I'm so proud of you." Her voice gets me every time.
I look over my shoulder to look into her eyes. "Thank you."
Leah smiles at me while still having her hands on my shoulders. I automatically put my hand on hers and rub my thumb over her hand. She takes her hands off my shoulders and I realize what I was doing. Shit. How does loving her feels so natural? I can feel my cheeks turning red. Leah smiles and walks off without saying anything. Hemp comes up to me to congratulate me too.
"You ready to get out of here?" I ask Russo. I don't like getting all the attention.
"Yes." Russo says immediately. "Where are we going to?"
"Anywhere but here." I say with a smile.
Russo gets up and grabs my hand, she pulls me through the dining room. She takes us outside.
"This is way better." I say as I take in a deep breath.
"You don't like being in the center of attention, do you?"
I shake my head. "We have a saying in Dutch: Act normal and you'd be acting crazy enough."
"That doesn't really make sense to me." Russo says laughing.
"I know. It's okay. Thank you for saving me back there."
"Not a problem, I like being the hero." She says while giving me a wink.
"Shall we walk to the pitch? The rest will be there soon too." I suggest.
Russo nods and we start walking. The moment we enter the pitch for the warming up it's starting to rain but this doesn't stop us from giving 100% in training.

We are all wet and cold while we walk back to camp. Leah is walking in front of me, shivering. I wish I could hold her right now. I speed up a little so I can talk to her.
"You okay baby?" I whisper.
"Yeah, fucking freezing." She answers.
"I have a solution for that..."
Her eyes quickly move to the side so she can look at me. "Oh yeah? What that?"
"A hot shower." I say with a smile on my face.
"No shit Sherlock." She says while laughing.
I start to laugh too. "Sorry. I like to tease you every now and then."
"What are you guys talking about?" Georgia asks as she joins us.
"Taking a hot shower." I reply quickly, I'm proud of myself since I normally panic and say something that doesn't even make sense.
"That is a good idea. I call dips." Georgia says to Leah.
Leah looks at her with big eyes. "Oh hell no."
I grab Georgia and hold her tight. "Run!" I say to Leah, who understood what I was doing before I said anything, she already started running back to camp. I let go of Georgia, who is laughing her ass off and starts running too.
"I'll come back for you later!" She shouts at me.
I can't help but laugh at Georgia. I start walking faster to get back inside.
I enter my room. Keira isn't here yet so I can take a shower and get myself warm again.
I can't wait for tomorrow.. My starting debut!
