33. Special guest

I hear the door closing again. I lean to the side so I can have a better look. I hear a familiar giggle and I see Leah entering the room. Her hair is perfectly styled and her makeup on point, wearing a black suit.
"Wow. You look stunning. You going out?" I say as my jaw drops.
"I'm not going out. I had to come up with an excuse to come and spend the night with you."
She smiles at me and she gets this twinkle in her eyes.
"Are you for real? You going to stay the night?" I feel like a kid in a candy shop.
"Georgia thinks I'm going out tonight with Alice."
"Alice, from reception?"
"Yes. I used to have this fling with her, nothing serious but Georgia knew about it so I figured this would be the best excuse to use. Alice is in on it too so nothing for us to worry about."
I look over to Keira. "You knew?"
"Yes." She smiles at me.
"I couldn't let you sleep alone on the night before your starting debut, I know you and I know you can get into your own head. Figured I'd be here to make sure you get a good night's sleep."
Tears start to come to my eyes. "Leah.. you are so sweet."
She walks up to me and holds me tight.
"What did Georgia say?" Keira asks.
"Georgia gave me a whole lecture about being responsible and I shouldn't sneak out on a night before matchday." Leah says while walking over to Keira to greet her.
"Yeah well, she isn't wrong." Keira says.
"I know." Leah says with a smile on her face.
"Ok, I'm gonna call Lucy, be back in a bit." Keira says as she walks towards the door.
My eyes are locked on Leah. She is looking so hot in her suit.
The moment the door closes she walks up to me, both her hands holding my face, her eyes locked into mine. "You are worth every lie I've been telling." She says right before she kisses me.
Her kiss is leaving me speechless. I can't believe she did all of that to be with me tonight, to be here for me.
I take off her blazer and my fingertips touch her arms, giving her goosebumps all over.
"Oh Dani, your touch...." She whispers.
My hands moving to her back, pulling her closer. I kiss her passionately, our tongues intertwined as we fall into my bed.
"Leah, I'm addicted to your kisses." I say out of breath.
She smiles at me. "You better be." She says before kissing me again.

"Ok. We should stop now before we can't stop anymore and Keira comes back." She says.

"So. You and Alice?"
Leah starts laughing. "Yes. We went on a few dates but there is nothing more there than friendship."
"I've heard a rumor about you guys before, I didn't know it was actually true."
"Only Georgia and Keira know about the dates we had, the rest is just speculation."
I smile at her. "I'm so surprised you are actually here."
"Good, wanted it to be a surprise."
"Didn't Georgia start to you about this afternoon?"
"Yes, she did, nothing for you to worry about. Let me take off my make-up and get undressed so I can lie next to you."
She gets up and walks into the bathroom. I can't believe she is actually here. There isn't anything else I would want more at this moment. Leah walks back in with a smile on her face.
"I know it's too early to go to sleep but maybe we could watch a movie together?"
"Would love that." I say as I grab my tablet.
Leah comes into the bed and sits close to me. "Let's put on a simple rom-com."

I'm lying in Leah's arms while we are watching the movie. Keira walks in.
"Look at you two. So cute."
Leah and I look at each other and smile.
"I think I can never be too close to you." I say as I put my body even closer against hers.
"I know." She says as she gives me a kiss on my head.
"Ok. That's my cue, I'll go take a shower." Keira says laughing.
Leah and I both start to laugh as Keira disappears into the bathroom.
"How are your nerves?" Leah asks.
"They're here but I feel much calmer now you are here with me."
"Maybe I can help you get rid of them." She looks at me with longing eyes.
"Fuck. I wish. We don't have time for that baby...."
"Oh, I bet I can make you come real fast." She whispers in my ear.

"Lie down." She commands me. I do as she says and lie down on my back.

I sit up straight and grab the tablet, the movie is still playing.

"Yeah, well. Better safe than sorry." Keira says while laughing.
Leah squeezes my hand like she is saying it was a close call. The movie credits appear on the tablet, guess it's over.
"How was the movie?" Keira asks.
I don't even know what to answer, haven't seen half of it.
"The ending was a bit of an anti-climax." I say, obviously not referring to the movie and Leah knows it.
"No mate, it wasn't anti-climax, it's an open ending.. just wait for part 2."
Keira is looking at us and shakes her head. I bet she knows something is up.
"I'm going to watch a match on my tablet in a bit, when do you want to go to sleep?" Keira asks.
"It's okay mate, the sound or light won't bother me. You can watch whatever you want."
"Thanks." Keira says with a smile on her face.
Leah and Keira talk for a bit. I'm just lying on my side, watching Leah. The light is giving me a perfect view of her face and her facial expressions. Every now and then she looks to the side so she can look at me and she gives me her most beautiful smile.

Keira's match begins and Leah turns to her side so she faces me.
"Hi gorgeous. How are you feeling?" She says softly.
"I'm hanging in there. Having you here with me gives me peace."
She smiles at me. "Turn on your back." She whispers.
I do as she asks and she pulls the blanket up to her shoulders. I feel her hand touching my body.
