Six days had passed and Juliet had only shared a handful of words with Kyle since the state championship. It killed her knowing that he didn't want to talk to her, but she did her best respecting him wanting space.

"I don't even understand how my dad can be so pissed at Spencer." Olivia groaned from Juliet's passenger seat. "He was only doing it to protect Jordan. If anything, my dad shouldn't be talking to Jordan and thanking Spencer for keeping his son safe." Juliet didn't say anything. She just kept her eyes forwards looking at the windshield. "Jules?"

"Yeah?" She asked coming to.

"Did you hear anything I just said?"

"Uh- yeah of course I did. Dads mad at Spencer. Should be mad at Jordan."

"Are you okay?"

"Fine, why?"

"Still haven't heard from Kyle?"

"No.."

"You know, that's some bullshit. He shouldn't ignore you just because they lost the championship."

"He's upset. He takes football serious."

"A little too serious maybe? ..Enough Kyle talk. It's been awhile since we have hung out. It's going to be a fantastic Friday night."

"Totally." Juliet smiled, hopeful that it was. Juliet dressed up for her night out with Olivia. It was the first time all week she took pride in what she looked like, and she felt good about herself.

When the girls walked into the Cafe, Olivia's eyes immediately landed on Spencer and she gave him a smile, only to then see Kyle sitting across from him laughing as he joked around with JJ while Jordan and Asher played pool. She quickly turned to Juliet blocking her view and said, "Why don't we go somewhere else?"

"Like where?" Juliet chuckled.

"What about a movie?"

"Why?"

"All the guys are here. You know guys. They can get loud and annoying."

Juliet stepped to the side to see who she was referring to. When she did her eyes landed on Kyle. "Wow.." she sighed. She couldn't tell if was more angry or hurt.

As she walked over to Kyle and Spencer she caught Jordan's attention. He could only assume what was about to go down.

"You didn't tell me you were in town." Juliet said to Kyle as she walked up to the table. He looked at her with a blank expression on his face and said "I'm hanging out the guys tonight."

She was taken back by how cold he was. "I see that."
Kyle didn't say anything. He looked down at the drink in his hand and pressed it to his lips. "Can we talk please?"

"Right now?"

"You haven't really talked to me in almost a week. I don't understand what I did."

"Nothing." Kyle was starting to become agitated and Jordan could tell.

"You're really still this upset over the game?"

"It has nothing to the with the damn game, Jules. I texted you that the other night." He snapped and Jordan couldn't help himself but to step in.

"Whoa, why don't you watch how you speak to her. Alright?" He said from the pool table.

Kyle looked his way and said, "Why don't you stop listening to our conversation?"

"Well, I would but you're talking loud enough for the entire restaurant to hear."

Kyle shook his head and looked back to Juliet. "He's right." She told him. "Can we just go talk in private."
