Now that the Beverly Eagles had finally come together as a team, there was no stopping them. Over the next two weeks their dynamic had changed. They beat their opponents by multiple touch downs each game, and there hadn't been a single brawl at a practice. The were the top dogs on campus.
As they walked the halls everyone took notice. They were stopped constantly to talk. Guys gave them high fives and bro shakes. Girls stared as they flipped their hair and gave them their numbers. They were all loving it. Most girls had their eye on Spencer and Jordan. Jordan however, had his eye on Juliet.
As he and Asher made their way to their lockers before first period, he saw Juliet at hers. She turned around and their eyes met, neither could help but smile.
"Hey man, I'll catch you later." Jordan told Asher before he passed in front of him over to her. "You're serious? You're still trying to make something of Jules?" Asher questioned him, he was shocked. Although Jordan and Juliet spent most of their time out side of school, practices, and games together; the two were still low key about their relationship when it came to their friends. They didn't want them interfering when they still hadn't made things official.Jordan turned to Asher and shrugged his shoulders as a large smiled came over his face. "Good morning." He said as he leaned against the locker next to hers. "Hey you." She replied as she pulled out the book she needed then closed the door and started down the hall. Jordan kicked from the wall and followed next to her.
"Sooo, I'm hanging out with the guys tonight since we have a short practice tonight. I didn't know if you wanted to join us?" He asked. "I can't tonight." She replied.
Jordan let out a sigh, "Are you ever going to hang out with me while we're with our friends?"
"Of course?"
"Really? Because right now it's a bunch of sneaking around to different low key date spots or we chill at my place or your place. I'm pretty sure no one outside of our families know we're a thing. Not even Spencer and he lives with me."
"Jordan, I have plans with Liv tonight after cheer practice. Look, I know that you want our friends to know about us, but until we're together I don't think it's a good idea. I want to date you, not the entire Beverly football team."
She could see the defeat in his eyes, even though he agreed with what she had to say. If any of the guys got wind they were talking they would immediately want all of the details. "Alright, fine." He mumbled, and walked away from her for first period.
"Hey!" She called out to him and he turned to look back at her and saw a sweet smiled on her face. "I hope you have a fantastic day." Even though he tried to fight it, a smile came over his face and he said, "I hope you do too."
