Almost two hours scrolling on the internet looking for a scholarship and I haven't found one yet. And aside from that scholarship problem, I'm also a little distracted about what I saw yesterday.

How come nobody told me about that?

I sighed, and stood up. Maybe I should go ask mom. I went out of my house and went to my parents house next door. For sure she knows. I opened the door and called for her.

"Mom?" I shouted closing the door behind me. "Mom, where are you?"

"In the kitchen honey!" She shouted back.

When I arrived, she's busy putting something on the oven.

"Hey! I'm baking some cupcakes for snacks. Great timing!"

"Hey, can I ask you something?" I said grabbing a chair on the breakfast counter.

"What is it?"

"Did you guys knew that Julia was pregnant?" My mom looked up to me, a little bit guilty and surprised. I knew it. "Why didn't you guys tell me?"

"Well, we thought Will and Julia told you themselves." My mom answers. "Remember, few months ago when all of them tried to reach you?"

I nodded. "Yeah."

"That was also the time they announced their engagement and Julia's pregnancy. You're dad and I decided not to mention anything to you because it might be a sensitive topic for you."

"I saw them yesterday." I said.

"Are you okay?"

I smiled remembering what I felt yesterday. "Not that I haven't moved on yet, I mean I already have. But when I saw Julia being pregnant, I got really angry. I don't understand! Is this normal?"

"She betrayed you, and ever since that day happened. You never saw each other again. I guess it is normal, yeah." My mom answers. "Or maybe your not ready to go see the two of them together yet."

I sighed, I was thinking about that. I'm traumatized! And I'm afraid that if I see them together again I'll be back on the same place I have been trying to move out after what they have done to me.

"We live in a small town mom, no matter what I do to avoid them. There will always come a time where I'll accidentally bump into them."

"I know." My mom says, I heard her sigh. "Does this mean you're flying back to Finland again?"

I smiled. "No mom, I told you I'm finishing my pre-med here. I just need to look for scholarship to afford it without getting a student loan or have a part-time job that will drain my whole energy."

"You know we can help!"

"Mom, since when did I ask for financial help due to academics?" I said.

"Never." She said giggling. "God! Why do you have to be so independent?"

"Proud of me yet?" I jokingly said.

"Will always will!" My mom says pinching my cheeks.

On Wednesday, Trina and Valter arrived from Finland making everyone busy since few of our family that weren't able to go to Finland for the wedding came to go see the two lovebirds.

Thankfully, we have the day to ourselves now. Just us, me, mom, dad, Trina and Valter plus Gayle. Accordingly, they came to visit us to tell us the good news. Everyone of us gathered here in the living room for movie marathon night, Valter and Trina also decided to tell the news as well.

"You guys could have just called us. You know phone?" I said sarcastically as I chug a can of beer.

Trina threw me a piece of popcorn glaring. She really hates me.

"Well, Valter and I wanted to but since we're moving here in US. We decided to just tell you guys when we officially arrive here!"

"Oh my god!" My mom exclaims. "What a great news Kathrina!"

"You guys will live here on Ohio?" My Dad asks.

Trina giggled. "Valter got a job as a training staff on a hockey team in North Carolina."

"It was a great deal, and I couldn't say no." Valter says.

"Wow! Congratulations you two!" Gayle says.

"I won't be that far anymore, am I?" Trina says.

"Yeah, got an easy way to slave me up again." I said putting some popcorn on my mouth. "If I decided to transfer in Carolina. That will surely happen."

"Shut up you brat!" Trina said throwing a pillow at me this time. "But transfer in Carolina? Why?"

"I'm planning to avail a scholarship in there." I answered.

"Why didn't you mentioned that to me last week?" My mom asks.

"I was just still thinking about it."

"Take it!" Trina says.

I chuckled pointing at her. "I should have seen that one coming! You really want that for sure. Are you going to offer me to live with you guys?"

"Absolutely not!"

"Glad we're clear on that."

I have been waiting for a sign on whether to grab that scholarship in North Carolina, or not but guess this is already the sign. Hopefully, this is it.

"When will you guys move?" I asked.

"Technically, we're already in Carolina for two weeks now." Valter answers. "But next week we'll move to our new home."

"Can I come visit?" I asked.

"I was planning on inviting you all to come with us actually." Trina said. "I need some extra help for the house blessing plus Valter's little celebration for getting the job."

"That's cool." Gayle says. "Can I please come?"

"Oh yes please." I inserted. "We have to bring Gayle just so I won't be alone getting slaved up!"

"Another word Sas and you'll be dead." Trina warns which made me to laugh.

Oh! I really love to get into her nerves...

"I missed you too sister!" I said.
