AYNE'S POV

Okay, let me clear you with this. My mind exist but blank whenever I lose myself to alcohol and I know, my dumb ass brain didn't work which left me drinking with an empty stomach. That's why I don't have any face to put on with everyone, most especially him, HANS. Gosh! Anna really invited him just to make me remember what happened that night! She is insane. Period.

I went straight to my permanent office with head pain. When I am talking about head pain, it is mild and manageable therefore no one should get worried. When I am talking about my permanent office, it's in the city.

Now, the problem is I need to focus on something other than that...

I unconsciously smiled then, bit my lower lips as I remembered what I saw before anything went black. He really has the body. I can assure everyone. This is definitely unbeatable. He has those lines drawn that define features of what a perfect body could be.

I was startled when I saw my secretary staring at me, confused.

"Something happened last night.", she clearly says as she walks towards me.

I nodded and smiled, "What's the agenda?". I changed the topic.

She gracefully opened her phone and dictated all the itinerary including the person in-charge and present but... he's not here. Now, I am bothered.

After all the meetings, I was the last one to leave the building but my guts told me not to take a single step out of my office. I can sense something is wrong. I called my brother and he is not answering. I am calling Anna, she's also not answering. And this left me, calling Hans' number, the unknown number, which he immediately answered. What a surprise! But at the same time, a man suddenly walks in the hallway which is seen through my office's transparent glass walls.

"Hello?", he answered.

"Come to my office, NOW!", I loudly whispered through the phone. I left my phone the way it is and strongly went outside of the room. It's dark and only a few lights were open, enough to see but not fully.

I took a few steps but at the same time my heart was beating loudly, enough to be heard by myself.

"Hello? Who's there?", I loudly asked.

No answer. I took few steps, again.

"Hello?".

No answer. I waited for someone to come out when someone grabbed my shoulders. I quickly turned around. A guy wearing a black mask made up of cloth and black clothes. All black.

Nervous is in me. I looked around without making that person suspicious about me. I saw a measuring rod (this is a material used by civil engineers to measure elevation in a series of points of a particular site). This gained me confidence.

"Who are you?", I asked, serious.

"You don't have to know.", but before he do something, I quickly picked up the rod and moved towards his back, and point the rod towards his chin. I guess learning fencing when I was younger is usable now.

But I accidentally looked into his eyes.

He answered an unknown call as he went inside to his unit.

"Hello?", he answered in a deep voice as he walked towards the bathroom area.

"I saw your post. I can pay more than that.", with a familiar voice coming from the phone.

He smiled while looking at the mirror. Looking scary. He touched his scar on one of the ends of his lips.

"Deal.".

I woke up and looked at him.

"Welcome to my hell, Ms. Ayne Cantle.", then, hissed with a scary melody. He held the rod and started walking towards me.

He know me?
