AYNE'S POV

"Are you not going in?" he asked, this made me wake up from my worries and enter the elevator faster. I am staring right now at the silhouette of the guy appearing through the door of the elevator.

I see nothing. There's no past? How come?

All of these questions surround my mind.

I need to test it again. But how?

I unconsciously wrinkled my forehead which I usually do when I focus on thinking of doing something.

"Miss." A man's voice passed through my ears and his hand was on my shoulder. I turned around, surprised, and again looked him in the eye. Nothing. I still see nothing. "Uhmm, miss, what floor?" he smilingly asked.

"8th floor." I said, panicky. He pressed the button 8 and nothing else, and went back to his place, waiting. While I was left looking at him, confused, unable to comprehend.

How come I can see nothing? It's pure blank. Has my ability stopped? How?

When the elevator stopped, the door opened and he pointed to the door, saying that it's my destination, I should leave. I went out but surprisingly, he also went out and walked in the opposite direction. He's my neighbor.

But before he opened his door, I shouted, "Wait!" This is my first time confronting someone, unexpectedly. He was shocked that he looked at me seeing how his small eyes were opened two times larger. I walked towards him and offered my hand as I pushed my hanging shopping bag towards my elbow. "I am your neighbor, Ayne Cantle." I said, smiling.

"Hans Riddlestone." looking at me confused with a forced smile drawn in his face, "then, may I excuse." he added. And left me standing in front of his door.

"I guess he's still confused." I murmured and went back to my unit.

I am so happy that I can interact with someone after 20 years.

~ ^-^ ~

I was asleep when suddenly someone rang my unit's doorbell. I was still half asleep as I opened the door. I accidentally looked the person in the eye when a disturbed feeling came in again.

Everyone is having a party. Everyone is celebrating.

I held my head and pushed the drunk man but I am too weak since my headaches begin. He forced himself to go inside and slept on the floor in my living area. I hurriedly went to the kitchen to drink my medicine for headaches and went to my room to get my sunglasses. My heart is beating so fast that I can't even catch up with my breathing pace.

I thought it was already gone.

HANS' POV

I was sleeping when suddenly my doorbell rang in the MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT! My sleepy head self forcedly stood up, got my precious phone from the side table and opened the main door and surprised me, it's my weird neighbor! She's wearing sunglasses which is a wow for me, in time where mostly people are sleeping, and wearing white night dress that is usually worn by dolls but she is barefooted, looking so disturbed.

"I am sorry to bother you but can you help me?" she beggingly asked, trembling.

"What is it?" as I went outside my unit.

"Let me show you first." She led the way towards her unit and opened her door and went inside. I was stunned when I saw a drunk old man sleeping in her living area. "He suddenly went inside. I don't know what to do to him."

"I'll call the security." I calmly said. As I went to the phone, I unconsciously toured my eyes through the unit. It's full of ...white, all I can say.

~ -_- ~

A few minutes later, the security went up and managed the drunk old man. They said he lives in the opposite building with the same unit number. But when they were talking to the girl, what was her name? Ayne? Yeah, Ayne. When they are talking to her regarding the incident, she is not the lively that she used to talk to me. Is she still scared? Is this her first time living alone?

"Why are you here?" one of my close guards came to me, smiling.

"She called for help."

"Tsk. Tsk. Do you know her?"

"Not really. I just helped her."

He put his arms to my shoulder and looked at me, teasingly.

"She's beautiful. Try her." he whispered. I pushed him.

"Crazy. I'm not that kind of person."

"If you date her, you'll know something big." He holds my hand and draws a triangle to it and points at the tip. I looked at him confused. But before I can ask a question, he is called by the head officer. Before he left my spot, he tapped my back and gave me a look, teasing.

I glared back at him as an answer. I went back looking at her, still trembling, and gave it a thought.

Triangle? What does that even mean?
