FRANCO'S POV
Anna pulled me until we reached the fire exit. She didn't say a word and stood in front of me, bowing her head as she played her hands.
"It's my mistake.", she started, "I didn't foresee my action's consequences. I am only thinking of my friend's safety and forgetting who I am.", she sighed deeply, "I didn't expect they'll investigate your existence. I just found out about the news earlier when Lia reported it to me. Probably, my dad will clearly have a discussion with me.", she raised her head, begging, "For now, just swallow what is happening. I'll take care of all of these disturbances. Promise!".
I sighed. She always talks first, not even asking my opinion.
"I'll pay through your requests. If you want, I will serve you. Clean your house? Car? Cook for you? I know money is not the solution for this mess but finding relief would cater to the rage you are feeling right now.", she smiled.
I smirked and was about to talk when she started opening her mouth.
"If you don't want that, just tell me, what do you want—", but before she could finish, I cornered her through both of my arms. She looked at me shocked.
"That mouth of yours, too noisy. Should I seal it?", I looked down to her natural plump pinkish lips. She pushed me hard and covered her lips using her hands.
"What's wrong with you?! Are you drunk?", she irritably said.
I laughed and messed up her hair. "No need to worry about me..", I sweetly said, smiling.
I didn't know she was this so cute....
AYNE'S POV
I am drowned by the exploded feelings I experience that I decided to initiate my actions towards him. His lips were so soft that I couldn't stop paying it back. His hands were warmer than I thought were now placed around my neck.
Why am I loving this?
Both of us stopped and caught our own breaths but startled when we both heard a glass shattered. We looked around and saw my brother... standing.
"I know I am not supposed to be here but I just want to leave Gwen's papers. She left it at the house.", Mat hurriedly said as he made haste in leaving us in the room, leaving his mess.
Still in the same position, Hans spoke, "Should we get him?".
Due to the extent of events, I was unable to construct a reply and quickly pushed him away from me.
"Let's forget what happened.", and about to leave the room when he grabbed my hands and stopped me.
I saw how his expressions show how he is extremely confused and disturbed at the same time.
I shoved his hands off me and bowed, "I'm so sorry.".
This is not the right time to follow your feelings, Ayne, after what you have discovered when Hans was brought to the hospital.
NARDEL'S POV
Another day to begin with...?
I was on the grounds when I noticed some of the prisoners were watching me, specifically observing me for an unknown reason.
"Hey!," Dexter North, one of the prisoners I am with in the same precinct room, has the same case as mine. The only difference is there's a payment basis. However, there's something off from him. He is friendly to all of the prisoners, including the most powerful prisoner in this building cellhere, even to the powerful, "I heard you were on bad terms with a politician, an influential politician.", he smirked.
"Dex, it's just a rumor.", I answered, uninterested.
We walked to our usual spot, where the sun shines so bright and clouds calmly pass by. As usual the time passes by so fast as if it is being chased.
"Did you contacted the person in that calling card?", he asked. He keeps on asking this for nth time.
I shook my head but that was a lie.
Ayne's secretary, Gwen, visited me and played a recording. It was Ayne instructing me to not trust everyone in the precinct because she's about to start the plan. Also...
"There's two options you have right now. It is to accept my offer or not. If you accept my offer, I can't guarantee your safety but I can give you the justice you want for your parents. If no is the answer, then I'll warn you, someone wants to silence your existence while you are behind in those cold bars. Better think, Nardel.", Ayne seriously said.
"That was what she wanted to say.", Gwen started, "Now, what's the answer, Sir Nardel..".
I nodded. "If everything comes to an end, it's better to leave something.", I smirked and told her all that I know.

Lunch Time.
We were all lined up carrying our own plates when someone pushed me from the back causing me to fall on the ground. When I looked back, a bunch of prisoners were fighting with each other. Loud screams by the prisoners and whistles from the authorities are heard. Punches and kicks are seen throughout.
I moved back from the crowd when I saw Dexter moving forward towards my pace, grinning. I looked down and saw his hand holding a toothbrush chiseled into a sharp and pointy stick.
My heart beats so loud and shivers. I tried to run away but the large crowd was going opposite to my direction, making Dexter come near me quickly and then, he whispered while grabbing my left shoulder with his right hand.
"Just for money, Del. Thanks. Everybody has a share.", he said, then I felt something in my stomach. He moved back and left like nothing happened.
I became weak and numbed. I didn't know what to do but silently cried while being stepped on by those prisoners whom I never met.
I am ashamed and deeply regret my actions towards my wife and her brother but this is just me, being affected by the decisions of others and just acting to it. Am I wrong?
