Third person's POV

Hans, wearing a high school uniform, was walking inside the campus towards the school ground when a girl running from a far bumped into her. She was wearing the same uniform as his and her eyes were covered with sunglasses. It is Ayne.

She looked back and bowed repeatedly, "Sorry.", she replied, feeling apologetic. Hans didn't see her face because it was covered by her long brown hair. Then, she hastily ran towards the school building and left behind her colored white notebook.

Name: Blue Eyes

Hans was about to approach her but it was stopped when her cousin, Anna, put her arms around him.

"Good luck, cousin.", she said, teasing. "It will be a long day.", then roughly smashed my shoulders. I glared at her and she looked away, whistling.

"Come. Here.", then we started running. After a long run, they both parted ways. He first visited the faculty room to ask for assistance since he was a new student.

Today is Hans' first day at his new school as a graduating student. His family moved to the city due to father's promotion in the medical field.

Meanwhile, Ayne, who is alone at the corner of the classroom, was dragged out of the classroom by a group of girls. They shove her at the back of the school building where students and teachers don't normally go.

The girls in front of me suddenly dispersed when a tall and long black haired girl walked towards Ayne. She is Clarisse Nit-sting, the famous girl in the whole highschool campus and known to have a huge crush on Lucas Silverich, a student council officer and class president of Ayne's class, typically he's the campus heartthrob. She looked at her, disgusted.

"This girl? How come? She's just nothing.", she said then suddenly a big slap was given to Ayne. Ayne was taken-aback, her sunglasses were removed, and accidentally looked at her, resulting in seeing the girl's eyes, her past rather.

Ayne looked at her in pity. Clarisse gets mad as she hates seeing those pity eyes. She pushed Ayne to the wall and slapped her again.

"What are you looking at, freak?", Clarisse shouted.

"Now, I know why you are like this.", Ayne murmured.

"Ha?", Clarisse strongly pushed Ayne's head to the wall. "What are you saying, loner?", acting like she didn't hear anything.

They saw how Ayne's calmness turned into fearlessness. Ayne smirked and glared at her, "He rejected you.", her straightforward answer led Clarisse to step back, stuttering.

The other girls looked at Clarisse in different expressions. They questioned her.

"I thought you were already dating him.", the other girl said. All of them are nodding.

"I am!", Clarisse shouted then pointed her pointing finger at Ayne, "Why are you believing her words!".

All of the girls are now doubting her.

"Hey, girls, I'll show you a proof!", Clarisse showed her phone. The picture showed Lucas buying drinks at the mall, but there is no presence of her.

Ayne also looked at the picture, wrinkling her forehead and candidly said, "Where are you?".

"Eh?", Clarisse was taken aback for the second time.

The girls decided to suspect her when a teacher suddenly came in. All of the girls disperse like thin air. Along with this, Clarisse whispered to Ayne.

"You'll regret this, loner freak.", and gave her a death glare, then stepped on Ayne's sunglasses. After that, Ayne picked it up and left.

Ayne went back to the building but went first to the restroom. She faced the mirror and saw how her left cheeks were red like an apple. She washed her face with cold water and wore a black mask that was inside her pocket. Then, a deep sigh is released by hers.

After a few minutes, she decided to step out of the restroom. Then, she bumped into her homeroom teacher, Teacher Rocel.

"What are you doing here, Ayne?", she sweetly smiled. Ayne just bowed to her, giving respect, without saying anything. Then, Ayne quietly walked towards the classroom and entered at the back door, everyone looked at her. Anna and Lucas looked at her, worriedly. At the same time, Teacher Rocel entered the room and she started the class.

Ayne is staring at the window all the time. She is physically present but not her attention. She is just thankful that the teachers didn't bother her. The morning class ended so fast that Ayne didn't notice.

During break time, Anna wanted to talk to Ayne but Ayne reluctantly declined her offer. She stayed all the time at the library without eating anything.

Dismissal time. 4 PM.

Anna was about to approach Ayne who is arranging her books when Clarisse opens the door loudly. She is with the girls again.

Ayne looked at them, calmly.

"There you are. Follow me.", Clarisse irritably command.

Anna walked towards Ayne but Ayne raised her hand to make her stop, and gave a sign that she'll call her after, then carried her bag and followed Clarisse.

They went to the open field near the grandstand. When they arrived, the girls started threatening and stripping her clothes off, which Ayne frightened. She started resisting but they were so many and strong. The sky is now turning darker until Ayne shouted Clarisse's name. A loud thunder and a big bright lightning began to show up in the sky. The girls got frightened, causing them to run as fast as they could, leaving Ayne behind.

Then, the rain starts to fall heavily. Ayne witnessed all that happened before she lost consciousness. Hans, who was walking near the area, saw Ayne lying on the floor, her personal belongings scattered and her clothes torn. He covered her using his jacket and carried her all the way back to the school building then called for help. The present teachers including Teacher Rocel approached him and guided him to bring Ayne to the clinic.

1 week passed.

Clarisse and her group were transferred to other school and a rumor surrounds that Clarisse and her group lost their eyesights. Ayne is now feared by all the students because she is the only one they were with before Clarisse and her group were last seen by the students. Ayne, who doesn't know what happened, begins to hate herself more.

Ayne began to distance herself to others, severely.

One day, Anna, together with Lucas, saw Ayne on the sidewalk, waiting for the traffic lights to turn green. Anna, decided to run, called her attention. After seeing Anna, Ayne suddenly ran across the other side of the street. Vehicles are one by one brakes and honks. But suddenly Anna and Lucas' world began to stop, when they witnessed Ayne being hit by a car and rolled over the car's hood up to the roof.

Everyone rushed over. Some called an ambulance. But the most devastating was Anna who rushed towards her, crying heavily. Ayne is covered with her own blood. Meanwhile, Lucas keeps on moving Anna away from Ayne. From Anna's perspective, she was so devastated that she promised herself to make Ayne safe at all times.

After the accident, Ayne was sent abroad to get better, but only one thing for sure, she can't remember from the day she met Clarisse up to her accident. Ayne went back to the country to study Engineering and starts a new life being invisible to people's eyes.
