HANS' POV

"That's all for today, class.", my goodbye ment for my last class for today. It's already 8 in the evening ang my last class just ended. I accommodated students' last questions as they approached me to the podium.

Calculus is really a hard subject to absorb just for 2 hours. This subject really requires time and practice but once you are able to solve it correctly, the feeling of fulfillment is surpassing.

While walking down the hallway, my phone vibrated. I quickly answered without looking at the screen.

"Hello?", my initial response.

"Come to my office, NOW!", she whispered but in a commanding tone. I looked at my phone, it was her, AGAIN.

"What is it?".

But there's no answer. The call is still on hold. It's so quiet then I started hearing her voice calling someone, like assuring if there is someone around her. But suddenly, the call ended. I tried to call her again but it's now unattended.

I began to feel worried.

Panicly, I ran towards the faculty room and carried my bag, dispersing like thin air. I called Anna and Mat but they are not answering. As I entered my car, I searched up on the internet where her office is. Now, I know who she is. This bigtime girl in disguise.

Her main office is just a few blocks away from the university.

At Ynell Constructions' Main Office,

I parked in front of the building and quickly moved. As I arrived at the front counter, I immediately asked the man wearing a formal uniform with a name plate, pinned in his left chest part of his jacket.

Nathan.

I asked what floor she was on but they replied to me with a question, asking me if I had set an appointment. I told them that she called me to go to her office. They told me to wait for confirmation and dialed on the telephone but as I wait, the trembling legs, my mannerism, keeps me unstable.

Nathan began to repeatedly dial and no one was answering. A staff member went down, heavily breathing as he spoke his words one by one.

"Nathan, Ms. Cantle is nowhere to be found. All telephone lines are cutted, intentionally.", the staff member said as he catches his breath.

I stopped right in front of them. "I already told you. She's probably in danger!". I cut in, irritably. They looked at me.

"Sir, please calm down.", the other staff member said.

"Please understand–", before he could continue, I exploded. I already waited for so long. This is the time I should do something. If anything happens, I might lose my sanity and blame myself for everything. Just like what happened before.

"What floor?!", I shouted, which caught the attention of everyone. A voice from somewhere stopped me from barging. I looked behind. It's Anna. The staff members bow down their heads to her, serving respect.

"Hans?", Anna said as she scans me, confused. "What are you doing here?".

"She called me. Something is wrong.", looking at her, eye to eye, convincing my thoughts to her. I saw how her face changed and instructed the two staff that no one will step out of the building. She also allowed me to pass through and shouted the floor number.

It's on the 6th floor. I pressed the up button for the elevator but the numbers are just so slow to move next. I decided to take the emergency stairs. I didn't think twice and ran as fast as I could.
