Shawn POV

I woke up in a bed that wasn't mine.  I had no recollection of what happened the night before and my head was pounding due to the amount of drinks I had.  I saw Kat in the bathroom and I realized that I was in her room.

"Hey you're awake," she said walking towards me.

"What happened last night?" I asked her, "We didn't do anything right?"

"What do you mean?," she said while sitting on the bed next to me.

"We didn't hook up or anything, right?"

"No we did not."

"I mean I woke up on your bed. I just thought we hooked up."

"Well we didn't." she said, "Also I'm not the type of person to take advantage of someone when they're drunk.  I have respect for that."

"Wow, I did not know that," I said.  To be honest, I was kind of relieved because that was a side of her I did not know of.  I then felt the sudden urge to throw up and Kat knew that.  She gave me the trashcan that was on the side of her bed and I coughed up all the contents that were in my stomach.  I swear it hurt more coming out than going in.

"I think I coughed out a lung," I coughed out and when I said that she gave me a bottle of water.

"I take it you're a lightweight," she said laughing.

"I guess you can say that," I told her.  Why is it that I'm drunk I can have an actual conversation with her but I can't talk to her when I'm sober?

"I just wanted to make sure you didn't get hurt.  When I saw you pass out, I just got scared," she said.

"Thanks for checking on me." I said, "I forgot to call my sister."

"You have a sister?"

"Yeah she's older than me.  I live with her.  She's probably worried about me."

"You don't have to worry about that. I got your phone and sent her a text.  I said that you spent the night with Justin," she said.  I knew Kristen would believe the lie Kat said because I told her I was going to the party with Justin.  As I stared at her, I started to take in all her features.  her beautiful green eyes, her jet-black hair that flowed down her back, those beautiful full lips that begged to be kissed, and the tattoos that covered her beautiful pale skin.  Don't think like that Shawn.  Get her out of your head.  I then felt a pounding in my head.  Ok that's it I'm never drinking again.

~Kat POV~

I saw Shawn place his hand on his head and that meant that he had a massive headache.

"You want some Advil or something for your head?," I asked.

"Yeah I think that would be good," he said.  After he said that I went to the bathroom to get the Advil.  I looked around the medicine cabinet for the Advil finding the bottle on the bottom shelf and I popped the bottle open and took two pills out.  I was walking back my room to give the pills to Shawn when I tripped on a pile of clothes that was on the floor and landed on top of him.

"Sorry about that," I apologized while staying on top of him. I don't know why I didn't get off of him.

"You ok Kat?," he asked.

"Yeah I'm fine. I just tripped on a pile of clothes that I forgot to pick up," I said.  I stayed on top of him for at least ten seconds before I gave him the pills that were in my hand.

"These will help with the headache," I said while getting off him.  He put the pills in his mouth and drank water from the bottle I gave him to wash them down.

"Thanks for taking care of me," he said while getting off the bed.

"Are you sober now?," I asked him.  I wanted to make sure that he was good enough to go home.  Even though he lives right across from my house I wanted to make sure he was ok.

"Yeah. Pretty much." he said, "Besides Kristen might kill me if I'm not home."

"Well then I think you should go home."

"If I don't show up on Monday then you know why," he said laughing.

"Don't worry.  If I have to called as a witness to your murder, I'll say that I was the last person you were with." I said, "text me when you get home. I put my number in your phone while I texted your sister."

"Yeah, no problem I will," he said then he got up and left.  I can't believe I landed on top of him.  The thoughts that were running around in my head was that I should've kissed him but it wouldn't feel right.  He was drunk.  Now I can't get Shawn out of my head.
