Chapter 5

"She's beautiful," Corey whispered as he ran his fingers through Raven's hair as Raven lay in his lap. "Can I show her to the others?"

"Da," Raven nodded. "Be good they see her."

Corey nodded and opened the mind link. "Oh wow," Luke gasped, "she's pretty."

"Da," Raven whispered as he relaxed into Corey's touch even more. "Kind soul. Need find her."

"We will," Owen nodded. "We will do whatever we can."

"Thanks," Raven murmured.

"I think we need to go to Russia," Victor said gently. "Maybe we should start looking there."

"Father look, no find," Raven shook his head. "Still look for me."

"But your father only has so many men he can spare to look for her," Corey said, "He doesn't have our experience or talents. Let me call him and talk to him, please?"

"Da, need air," he murmured as he got up and headed outside. He clutched the railing and took a deep breath. That image of her face covered in bruises and cuts burned into his mind. His heart ached at the thought of her hurt and him not being able to do anything about it.

"Don't focus on that part, Raven," Sean said as he stood beside him. "That was fade and heal, you need to get past that image and focus on how you are going to help her heal when we find her because I promise you, Raven, we will find her and she is going to need you to be strong for her."

"Thanks," Raven nodded then turned to look as Luke came up behind them.

"Ready for go?" Luke asked concerned. "Your dad already sent out someone to get rooms set up for us and Kota is handling all our businesses so they will be taken care of while we are gone."

"How?" Raven asked confused.

"I need an image of your father's mansion and I'll take two at a time," Luke explained.

"And you will rest afterwards," Sean said making Luke nodded in agreement, "you've never transported so many of us before so you must rest once we are all there, Lucian."

"I will Doc," Luke nodded, "I promise."

"Nyet push too much," Raven shook his head and Luke smiled.

"I promise I'll be okay, Raven. I'm usually okay afterwards with still a lot of energy when I take one or two of us," Luke explained, "so I'm expecting to be drained teleporting everyone. It's why I'm taking two at a time so I can gage my energy and not push. Your father knows it may take awhile in case I need to rest in between and said he has his jet on standby incase I can't bring everyone. I'll be careful, Raven."

"Kay," Raven nodded, "Thanks."

"Of course," Luke smiled. "Come on, you and Corey are first."

Raven followed Luke inside with Sean following behind them. Luke stood beside Corey and motioned for Raven to stand on the other side of him. "You may be lightheaded or nauseous once we arrive, just so you know," Luke said and Corey and Raven nodded. "Alright show me the room."

"Here," Marc said as he turned the laptop around to show the live feed inside of a room at Nikolai's mansion with Nikolai and Natasha standing by the fireplace.

Luke nodded and stared at the computer screen then one hand on each of Corey and Raven's shoulders then closed his eyes. He took a deep breath then the three of them disappeared in front of the rest of the groups. They heard Nikolai and Natasha gasp and they watched as Luke, Corey, and Raven appeared in front of Raven's parents.

"You three okay?" Sean asked over the webcam.

"Da, I fine," Raven nodded as he hugged his mother.

"Yeah we're good," Corey nodded. "It's weird but we're good."

"I'm on my way back," Luke said then snapped and he disappeared then reappeared back at the Toma family mansion. "Alright, who's next?"

"Do you need a moment?" North asked but Luke shook his head.

"Nah, I'm good," Luke smirked. "Now, who's next?"

Luke took Owen and Axel, then Sean and Brandon, then North and Silas. "Whoa, you okay, Luke?" North asked when he saw Luke sway just slightly after appearing.

"Yeah, I'm just going to take a minute before I get the rest," Luke nodded as he sat down.

"Take your time, Luke," Victor said, "we can come another day if we need to. You need to be careful."

"Here," Nikolai said handing him a cup. "I send jet."

"That's okay," Luke said before taking a drink. "Yeah, I'm good now."

"Are you sure?" Marc asked. "We can wait."

"Yeah, I'm good," he nodded then disappeared and reappeared with Gabe and Marc. He smirked, disappeared then reappeared with Kota, Nathan, and Victor who was holding the laptop. "That's everyone, we're all here."

"Rest, Lucian," Sean said as he helped him sit.

"Yeah, I think that's a good idea, Doc," Luke mumbled as he sat down and closed his eyes. "I'm just a bit tired, not drained, just tired."

"All you rest," Nikolai said as someone knocked. "Come in," he called and a maid came in pushing a tray. "Thank you," he nodded and she quickly left. "Drink. We start planning tomorrow."
