"But you are centuries..." she trailed off confused.

"Yes, we are," Owen admitted.

"But..." she suddenly gasped, "black magic."

"Yes," Owen nodded. "Our families swore that until they could kill us for betraying them, they would never die. They found a family of witches that would use dark magic to make them live long enough to fulfil their promise."

"But I—"

"That is because we have managed to kill everyone except our fathers," Victor said as he came back into the room.

"That is not entirely true," Owen shook his head. "Our younger siblings killed themselves after they found out what our parents did. They did not want to hunt us, and they did not want to be hunters either once they saw that we were not like what our parents described."

"Sorry," she whispered feeling their sadness through the bond.

"There is nothing for you to be sorry for, Princess," Victor shook his head. "We know that our siblings are in a better place, and we knew the moment we turned our backs to our parents that we were no longer family. We mourned a long time ago. We have a better family now and that is all that matters."

"Any more questions?" Owen asked and she barely shook her head. "Okay, then let's just rest. Go back to sleep if you need to, we aren't leaving your side, I promise."

She closed her eyes and smiled softly as she felt Raven's love push through stronger than the rest. I be back soon, Kitten, just rest. 143637.

143 she sent back as she felt Owen's arms tighten their hold on her. She breathed in the calming scent of Owen and Victor and soon drifted back to sleep.

Something dripping on her stirred her awake. She opened her eyes and tried to scream but her mouth was gagged.

"Oh goodie, you're finally awake...."

She stopped her muffled screaming as the lifeless eyes of the dead witch before her suddenly dropped at her feet and she was face to face with Owen's father.

"Such fear," a deep voice chuckled as a figure approached them. Her body trembled as Victor's father came to stand next to Owen's. "Such a sweet smell."

"Time to make it sweeter," Owen's father smirked as he licked his lips. "Show her."

"Gladly," Victor's father sneered as he approached her. She started to mind link but found just silence. "Get up, Bitch," he snarled as he yanked her up. "And don't bother trying any of your magic, I stripped you of it and drained you so it's worthless to even try. Well, that stupid worthless witch did before we killed her for being stupid. That spell she put on you three for us to kidnap you was supposed to last longer. She was supposed to be the best of the best but obviously she was worthless since you're awake now. At least you are still powerless," he grumbled as he continued to drag her where he wanted her.

Well, that explains the heaviness she thought to herself as she followed the man that was yanking her forward while trying to make sure she didn't trip over her feet.

"Look," Victor's father growled as he shoved her in front of him. Her breath escaped her as the metal railing shoved into her chest. "Because of you we lost one of our most powerful witches, you bitch! But it's okay because we still got what we wanted."

She opened her eyes and screamed despite there being a gag in her mouth. There beneath her was her worst fear. On the stage, in front of the grand piano were Owen and Victor bound and not moving. Two dark chuckles behind her made her grow silent.

"There's no use," one of them said. "They are still knocked out. Seems the spell doesn't work as well on a fellow witch. But that's okay, you will become our new witch."

Alyona tried to glare at him, but she still had spots in her vision. "You will be cause of their death," the other said as he shoved her into the metal railing even more. "Because you are their supposed final beloved, you will destroy them and then you will die."

Supposed? So, they don't know the bond is complete yet. She tried not to tremble as flashbacks from her vision started to overtake her rational thoughts. Please, please, please not now.

Be strong Kitten, on way.

Bear Bear?

Da, on way.

Open eyes let us see

Sooo tired, drained me

Shit, Raven if she's been drained on top of her still recovering, she's not going to last being alert much longer especially with her panic right now Sean sent.

Keep talking to us Ten Kota sent keep your mind open so we can find you. We can send you our strength and take your pain also, just let us, please.

Alyona felt a slight pressure in her mind and her chest, so she accepted it and forced herself not to react at the energy that flowed through her right then.

"Come on Bitch," Owen's father yanked her by her hair and dragged her towards the stage. He threw her on the stage, making her gasp as she face planted.

"Princess."

She lifted her head to find Victor staring at her with fear and sadness in his eyes.

"Shut up you pathetic piece of shit," Victor's father growled as he slapped him.

"It'll be okay, Princess," Victor murmured.

"Now, make them human," Owen's father demanded as he yanked the gag out of her mouth. "Make them like they are supposed to be and maybe I'll let you live."

"Don't listen to him, Darling," Owen shook his head.

"Shut up!" his father shouted as he punched Owen in the face.

"Stop," Alyona gasped. "Please stop!"

She couldn't handle the screaming and the sounds of flesh hitting flesh anymore.

"Fine," Victor's father sighed in annoyance. "If you won't turn them back to human then there is no use for you."

"They don't deserve their supposed love anyway," Owen's father glared as he took his handkerchief from his pocket and started wiping his hands.

"What are you going to do?" Victor asked.

"Don't touch her," Owen fumed as he tried to break from the poison drenched chains.

"Take one last look," Owen's father gleamed as he pulled the stake out of his jacket pocket.

"Any last words?" Victor's father asked as he gripped her throat.

"Yes," Alyona gasped as she locked eyes with Victor and Owen. "I love you," she whispered as she started mumbling under her breath.

Just as the stake came rushing towards her a wave of burning air pushed out of her. Her name was called by many voices just as she saw fire coming towards her then everything went black.
