"Come on, Aly, time for your English lessons," Kota said later that afternoon as he came into the living room. "Do you want me to get Raven or Corey?"
"Nyet," she shook her head. "Try nyet them. Not bother."
"You aren't going to bother them but okay, if that's what you want," Kota smirked. "Come on, I've already got everything set up."
She got up and followed him into the study. He opened a book and started helping her with her English. Raven leaned against the doorframe and watched with a smirk on his face. Kota glanced up and forced himself not to smile when he saw how happy Raven was watching them.
"Look," she pointed at the page in front of her. "Heart."
"What?" Kota asked glancing down in confusion because they were working on numbers not words.
"Heart," she tapped the paper again. "See?"
"Oh yeah," he chuckled, "that's 52 but yeah, I can see how the space makes a heart shape."
"52," she repeated, "Like." She nodded then pointed at him, "52."
"Fine," he smirked, "If I'm 52 then you are 10."
"10? Why?" She asked confused.
"Because it's the perfect number so you are 10."
"Da," she nodded.
"So what is everyone else's names?" Kota asked as North came in with a tray.
"Here are your snacks, Baby," he said setting it down in a clear spot on the table.
"Tank you, North Star," she smiled at him.
"Thank you," Kota correctly gently.
"Thank you," she corrected.
"You're welcome, Baby," North chuckled then kissed her forehead then Kota's.
"So North is Star, I am 52, and Raven is Bear, who else has names?" Kota asked.
"Silas is Ocean," She thought about it, "Luke Ninja, Marc Coffee, Victor Prince, think rest."
"That's okay, you will figure it out," North smiled as he left.
"Doing well, Kitten," Raven nodded when he noticed that she noticed him. She beamed and he winked at her then left them alone.
Once she was done with her lessons for the day, they headed back to the living room, and she noticed one of the books Nikolai gave her on the bookcase. She picked it up and gasped as her eyes glazed over.
"Kitten?" Raven asked dropping his gun that he was cleaning.
"What's going on?" Luke asked shoving his candy into his pocket as everyone stood. "What's wrong?"
"Kitten?" Raven asked again as he grabbed her. He slowly sat on the ground and held her in his lap while he waited for her to come back.
"What the fuck is happening?" Gabe asked.
"She's having a vision," Silas explained.
"BEAR!" She screamed as she snapped back to reality.
"Da, I here," he said trying to remain calm. "What see?"
"Father," she gasped as she clutched his arms. "Father killed. Glass break, blood all over. Screams, pain. Hit. Call Father now, please, Bear call now, nyet go—"
"PUT HIM ON THE PHONE NOW!" Owen shouted as he came into the living room. "I DON'T CARE! INTERRUPT THE GODDAMN MEETING NOW!" He cleared his throat, "If you do not go interrupt that meeting this instant I will teleport there and rip your throat out and feed it to the dogs. I will not repeat myself again."
She tapped Raven's arm making him look down at her, "He part dragon?"
Raven smirked and shook his head, "Nyet, just protective over family. He fierce as dragon though. Think see anything else? Mother?"
She whimpered, "Need see Father now, Bear. Please. Send Luke go save Father."
"Mr. Taylor take us to the Ravenstahl mansion now," Owen said hanging up the phone. "Raven call your mother immediately."
"Nyet answer," Raven said hanging up his phone. "You see who do this, Kitten?"
"Ready?" Luke asked handing North the empty cup.
"Yes, we need to leave immediately," Owen said as the group surrounded Raven and Luke. "Mr. Taylor."
"I'll take three at a time," Luke nodded. "Raven, Alyona, Mr. Blackbourne, let's go."
"Keep call Mother, Father," Raven said looking at the rest.
"We will," Axel nodded.
Luke snapped and in a blink they found themselves in the Ravenstahl living room.
"Raven?" Natasha asked shocked setting her book down. "What?"
"Where Father?" Alyona begged, "Need see Father now."
"Stay here," Raven growled as he stormed out of the room with Owen following.
"Super short version, Cupcake saw vision, someone refuse notify Father, so here we are," Luke said quickly. "I'll be right back with rest."
"Nikolai," Natasha gasped as Luke disappeared. "What see, Daughter?"
Alyona opened her mouth to explain when glass shattered from gun shots and multiple loud roars of anger filled the halls of the mansion.
