"Just arrived. Special shipment, with all the modifications you requested, Sir." The salesman said, obviously trying to seal the deal, and get his money. Just then his phone began ringing, and he glanced over at me, almost asking for permission to answer it.
"Of course, Jermey. Please take it, I'm going to look it over for a moment." I replied.
"Thank you sir, I'll be back shortly." He replied, hastening off to his office across the sales floor. I walked closer to Shay's present, examining the exquisite craftsmanship, and began to doubt my choice for a moment. Would she really like it? Will she think I'm trying to buy her? But then I remembered who I was thinking about. This is Shay. She knows more than anyone where I'm coming from. And with that I was sure I had made the right decision.
"Is everything how you like?" Jeremy asked, coming back up from behind me.
"Absolutely." I said, hold my hand out to finish the deal.
"Excellent." He said. "Just follow me and we'll finish the paper work."
"Okay." I said, following him back to his office. And as I signed the monstrous stack of papers, I was continually glancing through the window, toward her gift, greatly anticipating surprising her with it tomorrow.
