Beep.....Beep.....Beep...Beep...Beep.Beep.Beep.........I slammed my hand down on the snooze button and moaned. "Uhgg!" Some Mondays are harder than others. Oh, who am I kidding! Mondays stink no matter how much, or how little, sleep you get. Rolling out of bed, I shuffled into the shower, attempting to shake the sleepiness off. And, thankfully, I was successful.

I dried off and quickly threw on some skinny jeans, boots, a long-sleeved cream cable knit sweater, with a navy vest. I left my hair down to dry since I was running a bit late. (And I hate being late!)

Dashing down the stairs I grabbed the keys, a fresh muffin, and a water bottle and bolted out the door. As I reached the end of the street, I mentally slapped myself for forgetting my bag. Doing a full on u-ey, I turned around and sped back to my drive way. Thoroughly exasperated, I hopped out of the car and dashed back into the house. Taking the steps two at a time, I bounded up the stairs, snatched my school bag, and raced back down the stairs. Running past my mom, with an amused look on her face, I jumped back into the car. As I sped off, again, I start praying (eyes opened of course), hoping that'll help my day get off to a better start.

Dear God,
Thank you so much for blessing me so much, Lord. And even though I don't always understand your plan, please help me to remember that your plan is ALWAYS best. Please keep me safe today, and calm my nerves...and Lord, please, please, please, let whole situation with Ben work out. Please let our friendship thrive no matter what happens. Amen.

And before I knew it, I pulled up to the college where I take dual credit classes. Throwing the car in park, and grabbing my stuff, I raced up the steps and dashed through the halls. As quietly as I can, I slip into my history class, finding a seat in the back and hoping my teacher doesn't notice my five minute tardiness. Sigh with relief that Prof.Milford didn't notice me, I go about getting my books out. Then I feel a small tap on my shoulder, and look to my left to see my friend Melissa. We are almost like twins (except I'm about half a foot taller), and always get mistaken for sisters. I lean closer and she whispers with a grin, "You're so lucky she forgot to take role at the beginning of class."

"I know." I reply, thanking God for watching out for me.

"So, just busy morning?" she asked, between spouts of taking notes from the boring lecture.

"Precisely." I replied, pulling my phone to the top of my bag, to turn it on silent. As I saw my home screen I noticed a missed text from Ben. Glancing around, but knowing our teacher was too engrossed in her explanation of Hydrogen Bombs used in WWII to notice, I quickly opened it and read the message.

B- Hey, Good morning! :) I hope you have an awesome day today, and I can't wait to see you again soon! Work is pretty busy this week, but we're still on for Wednesday, right? ;) 7:54 am

Smiling, I hurriedly text back,

S- Hey, good morning to you too!! ;) Today's been off to a bit of a rough start, but it's getting better! ;) And yes, I'll see you Wednesday! :) 8:11 am

And lock my phone back, and turn it on silent. I put my focus on the teacher, but am again interrupted by a poke to the arm. I look at Melissa, and see her mouth, You've got some explaining to do! And the realization hit me, she didn't know what was going on with Ben, and she had just read that text over my shoulder. Grinning at her curiosity, I mouth, At lunch, and finally turn my full attention to Prof.Milford.
