I woke up this morning to the sound of my favorite song, Oceans by Hillsong United. It was a great start to the day. I rolled out of bed, hopped into the bathroom and started the shower, excited for what today held. First church, then lunch with the Smiths, and I couldn't wait for the fun to begin. As the shower warmed up I pulled out my Bible and looked up some verses.

Psalm 25:4-5
Make me to know your ways, O Lord;
teach me your paths.
Lead me in your truth and teach me,
for you are the God of my salvation;
for you I wait all the day long.

Psalm 37:5
Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in him, and he will act.

Psalm 55:22
Cast your burden on the Lord,
and he will sustain you;
he will never permit
the righteous to be moved.

And with renewed strength and assurance, I jumped in the shower, ready for the events of the day to begin.

After drying off I changed into a navy and white chevron maxi skirt and white tank with a cranberry cardigan and white belt. As I towel dried my hair I grabbed my phone to text Ben.

S- Morning Sunshine! :) I'll see you later. Can't wait for you to meet the rest of the family (I know they'll love you, you will be like the brother they never had). Have a great morning, BFF ;) 8:30 am

Once I sent the text I left my hair down to finish air drying, and grabbed my coat, Bible, and my bag, before heading down stair. As I reached the bottom I was greeted by a knock on the door. I went over and opened it to find my sisters and grandma standing there in big coats with their bags in hand.

"Did y'all move in?" I asked my sisters as they filed into the warm house and began removing their coats.

"Haha. Good to see you too sis." said Laura, as I took her coat and laid it on the bench.

"Hey, you know I'm glad you're home." I replied as I went over to hug my grandma, and take some of the bags she was carrying.

"Okay are you guys ready for church?" I asked as they piled their bags on the stairs to sort through later.

"You bet!" replied Theresa.

"I've got to grab my Bible." exclaimed Annabelle, as she ran up the stairs.

"Good morning mom." said my mother as she exited her room, completely ready to go.

"Good morning Vivienne." replied my grandma, as she embraced my mother.

"Everyone ready to go?" asked my dad, as he exited their room, and joined the gathering.

"Yes!" said Annabelle as she came running back down the stairs.

"Alright let's go." Dad said, as he made his way out the door toward our mini van.

"I'll see y'all after church." replied my grandma as she walked over to her car.

"We're going out for lunch today. I'll text you the details when I get in the car." hollered my mother, while we piled into the car.

"Alright." Grandma said before getting in her car and driving off.

"Where are we going to eat?" asked Theresa.

"It's a surprise." replied my mother as she pulled put her phone and texted her mom.

After we had been driving for about 5 minutes, my phone dinged. While everyone else was on their electronics, or reading, I pulled out my phone and saw a new message from Ben. Trying to hold back a smile I opened it and read,

B- Good morning to you too :) I can't wait either. Have a great morning, see you soon. :) 8:50 am

After reading his message I grinned for the rest of the ride to church, receiving some inquisitive glances from Laura. But I didn't say anything. She would find out soon enough.
