"There are few things that you guys need to remember for you to have an effective communication." Her long legs shone under the sunlight that's slightly peeking through the curtain as she slowly walk towards my desk.

"One of that is you need to be an attentive listener. Why?" She simply took a seat on my armchair at itinuro ang kaklase ko gamit ang meter stick na hawak hawak neto.

Her skirt slightly went up her legs, showing an amount of skin while she makes herself comfortable in front of me. I know she's clearly aware of its effect sa akin and I know so damn well that she's enjoying it.

Literally a devil in disguise.

"Uhm well miss, active or involved listeners gain a deeper understanding of what is being spoken."

She slowly nod her head, agreeing sa sinabi ng kaklase ko na inutusan niyang bumalik sa pag-kaupo.

She took a glance in her wrist watch and pushed herself away from my desk.

"Mr. Laczamania's right. It suggests that even when a speaker is not very effective, attentive listeners nonetheless understand what they are attempting to express. Kumbaga, even though the speaker's can't really explain what they wanted to point out, kahit sobrang gulo na ay maiintindihan mo ito."

"Sana all iniitindi." My blockmate chimed in.

Ms. Evans took a seat in her desk as she slightly lean forward habang nakapatong ang siko neto sa taas ng mesa. Probably getting interested sa narinig.

"And why did you think na hindi ka iniintindi?"

"Eh kasi po maam yung partner ko. Everytime na nag-uusap kami ay nauuwi lang sa pagtatalo."

"You know, if you're in a relationship, dapat alam niyo na not all that time ay kaya kayong intindihin nong tao."

"If communication in your relationship is defined by misconceptions brought on by trouble listening to and expressing one's partner's viewpoints, maayos pa ito. Pero syempre if both parties are genuinely eager to improve these."

Napaupo ako ng tuwid dahil sa narinig. Oh great, now she's not just the university president pero taga advice na rin.

"Remember this, you can love someone without really understanding them but leave if they starts disrespecting it and you as a person."

I don't know if she's just simply an observer or anything na sinabi neto ay based in her very own experiences. But one thing I can make sure is yung pag ka mature ng mindset niya. Gosh, the way her tongue rolled show how intellectual she is.

Tahimik lang ang kaklase while some of them ay namamanghang nakatingin sa presidenteng nakacross ang mga braso sa dibdib neto. 

"And speaking of pagtatalo, we'll have a thousand words essay tomorrow regarding the theory of reasoning and argument. Class dismissed"

The room got filled with students groaning, probably nagrereklamo dahil every meeting ay talagang may pinapagawa ito.

Niligpit ko ang mga gamit at binalingan ang tatlong barkadang naghihintay sakin sa gilid.

Dumapo ang mga mata ko kay Daniel na kanina pang nakatingin sa akin. No one knew but kaming tatlo, together with the president itself, kung ano ang nangyari sa akin last two nights where I decided to have a chill night na nauwi sa comatose.

Mabuti nalang at marunong manahimik tong isa. Kung hindi kanina pa ako naka hot-seat sa dalawang babae knowing na they won't stop until na makuha nila ang sagot na gusto nilang marinig.

And also screw Aby for not informing me na that damn drink contained forty percent alcohol volume. Lakas pa ng loob kong tunggain ang buong baso.

"Mauna na siguro kayo sa cafeteria. I'll try catching up sa inyong tatlo mamaya."
