Carl let out a sigh as he arrived back at the gates of Alexandria. He had been off scavenging for meds and other types of medical items like bandages and such. Lucky him, he actually filled up a whole duffle bag in only a few days. His hair was messy, and he looked horrible since he had been fighting off walkers and due to sleeping in a tent the past two night, he hadn't gotten too much sleep. The crawling feeling of walkers sneaking up on him and taking his life as he slept had kept him awake.

"Yeah, open the gate." Dora, a dark-skinned woman yelled out from on top of the gate to the ones on the ground. "It's Carl." She told them, and the gate quickly was opened up for the young male.

Seeing Alexandria again after being gone for about three or four days felt great, Carl was finally home. "What did you find." Siddiq was immediately there to greet him with a tight, welcoming hug. "I don't know what any of the stuff is, but all of this." Carl let the duffel bag slide down from his shoulder and caught it with his wrist, before handing it to Seddiq.

"Thank you so much for doing this, you know how much we appreciate it." Siddiq smiled, and Carl shrugged it off with a nod. "Do you know where my dad is?" He asked, and Seddiq shrugged. "To my knowledge he's out somewhere, I'm sure Michonne knows." Seddiq told his friend before hurrying off towards the infirmary.

Carl kicked a rock on the ground. "Damn it." He growled, feeling stressed out.

"What's up kid?" Negan asked as Carl got further into the area protected by metal walls. "Just came home, but still, nobody seems to be here. Rick's out, Michonne is God knows where. I mean fuck, why is everyone gone when I arrive?" Carl groaned, and Negan nodded. "I'm here, Judith was out playing with RJ and all these guard people are here, as well." Negan said with a smile.

"Yeah, yeah, you're right." Carl sighed. "So, what have you been up to today?" He asked. "I'm glad you asked." Negan grinned. "I was mocking this new fella, the poor guy got sent straight to the cell." He spoke. "He was nice, oddly quiet. According to what I heard he's lived here before and done some bad shit."

"Really?" Carl asked, and Negan nodded. "You should go give him a chat. Perhaps you know each other." He spoke. "Probably. I'll think about it." The brunette guy before him nodded, fixing the way he was carrying the backpack.

"I have to go unpack, though." Carl sighed, letting his eye trail off to the house he was staying at. "I'll talk to you later." He mumbled. "Yeah, sure, kid." Negan nodded, as the two started walking away in two different directions.

The walk back to the Grimes home was relaxing, especially when Carl knew he'd see Judith and Rj after a few days of not being able too. Suddenly a little girl sprinted out onto the street from the house. "CARL!" She was so happy to see him. "Oh, Judith!" Carl smiled and took a few steps forwards.

When the two finally met Carl wrapped his arms around his sister, it was a sweet, nice hug. "I missed you." Judith smiled. "I did too." Her brother answered. "Where's RJ?" He then asked. "Inside, c'mon." Judith said, and Carl followed her inside the house, where his younger brother sat. He gave the kid a tight hug before sitting down on the couch next to him and Judith to tell them stories of what happened.

Carl shook his head slightly to get his long hair out of his face. He hadn't bothered to put on a new bandage to cover the whole in his face he'd gotten from Ron shooting him in the eye since he wasn't planning on talking to anyone. If he was, he would have, since most people look at the wound instead of looking him in the eye when talking. Carl had been back in Alexandria for about a day now, yet he hadn't seen anything of Michonne or Rick.

"Hey, Grimes!" A voice yelled out from Carl's voice, and he turned. "Look, I'm sorry man. But could you check on the new guy who just arrived? He's in the cell, I was supposed to guard him. But my wife is sick." The man asked. "Oh, I was looking for Michonne, but I guess I could. I was thinking of doing it at some point anyways." Carl smiled. "Yeah, great. He's a calm dude, I don't think he'll do anything." The man nodded. "Alright." Carl nodded; the man gave him the keys before quickly patting his back and jogging away.
