"I had only been gone for 15 minutes, 15 minutes!" Sketches, the responsible one, scolded. All three of her friends smiled awkwardly. She pinched the bridge of her nose. "What happened now?" She finally said.

Hybrid and Kiyochi we're sprawled out on the two couches, watching some random horror movie and shouting at the dumb things the main character did. Rockabiee was reading a new book she had gotten from the library, a fantasy novel to be exact. From time to time, she would looked up at the screen, giggle for a bit, and then get back to reading.

While everyone else was minding their own business, Sketches was righting down a list of things to buy. There was barely enough food and everyone was getting tired of ordering takeout, they were also broke. Once she had finished, she stood up and walked towards her roommates.

"Hey, do you guys wanna come with me to the store?" She suggested, "The fridge is almost empty and I have the urge to cook." Kiyochi smiled, as she had always loved her friend's cooking. "Sure, we don't mind." She agreed, the other two nodding along.

"Sketchessss!" Kiyochi whined, "What's taking so long?" Her responsible friend paid her no mind, as she was looking for the expiration date on a chocolate milk carton. "I need to make sure I have everything, and you guys wanted to come anyway." She replied, turning to look back at her.

"We know, but these long legs can only walk so far." Rockabiee explained "Tell me about it." Hybrid sulked, shaking his head. Sketchbooks sighed. "Well, I can't drive you all back home, so you'll have to endure it." She deadpanned from the chorus of groans that she got as a response.

Suddenly, Rockabiee's eyes lit up. "Wait, I think I saw a playground nearby, far enough for us to walk. We can go there and you can just call us to come back." She persuaded, hoping to finally sit down. Sketches thought for a moment. "Oh fine, but please be careful." She said sternly.

"We promise!" The three "children" all spoke together.

When they finally reached their destination, the trio practically ran towards the empty bench. Sitting down, they sighed in comfort, their legs finally catching a break. During this time, Hybrid decided to look around. There seemed to be a group of school kids in their cute little uniforms. The teacher sat on the bench not too far from them.

He patted Rockabiee's shoulder. "Hey, check it out." She turned her head, as well as Kiyochi, who heard him. Rockabiee coped at the site of the children laughing. "Aww, their so adorable." She smiled. Kiyochi glanced at the children and back at her. "Uh huh..." She mumbled.

They once again turned silent. "Sooo, we are gonna play with them, right?" Rockabiee asked. "Duh.", "Say less.", Her friends answered. "Cool." She replied as they all got up simultaneously.

The teacher seemed to be talking on the phone paying no mind to the children.(Pretty irresponsible but okay) Rockabiee immediately knelt down in front of one of them, being overwhelmed by their adorableness.

Kiyochi on the other hand, was arguing with a child, about 9-10, about how to eat an Oreo. "WHAT'S RHE POINT OF EATING RHE OREO IF YOU DON'T EAT ALL OF IT!" She argued.

And then there was Hybrid, who was down on one knee, with a bunch of children already crowded around him, he taught them a very important topic: Is water wet.
"So you see kids, by the laws of physics and all that science crap, I can be clearly proven that water is indeed-" he paused. "Wait, hold up." He said, getting out his phone.

After a few moments of typing, he turned back to the children. "Ok! As I was saying, so you see children, water is indeed not wet!" He exclaimed. The children stayed silent. "What does 'crap' mean?" One of them asked innocently. Hybrid froze. "Fuck..." He clasped his hand over his mouth.

"Well, that's all for me kids, bye!" He said, quickly leaving, not wanting to draw attention to himself.

Sketches blinked. "How does one even-" she started. The trio just looked around awkwardly. Finally, Rockabiee decided to ease the atmosphere. "Well, hey! At least I made a little friend!" She gently lifted up a little girl, "Say hi, lovely!" She urged. The girl looked Sketches straight in the eye and uttered, "...fuck..." She grinned proudly at the new word she had learned.

All went dead silent. Rockabiee slowly put down the child. "Soo, what's for dinner?"
