Mitsuki Bakugo had had enough when she found Izuku's letter in the kitchen the next morning. She was getting ready to prepare breakfast when she saw it laying there innocently on the table and picked it up when recognized Izuku's handwriting. It was addressed to her family and she immediately yelled for Masuru and Katsuki to get their asses downstairs. It was clear Izuku had cried while writing it by the tear drops covering and by the time Mitsuki finished, more tears had been added to it. She read it out loud for her boys to hear and for once Katsuki didn't yell. He was too busy being furious at both Inko and Izuku but for very different reasons. Inko for being a shitty mother and Izuku for believing he had become a burden on him and his parents. Masuru simply took the letter from his wife's trembling hands and placed it back on the table and pulled his family into a hug.

Masuru placed his head on top of his son and whispered, "It's okay to cry Katsuki, it doesn't make you weak. It simply means you are strong enough to admit you are human too." A sob fell out of the boy's mouth at this comment and he clung onto his parents and cried harder than he had in years. He let the dam break and cried until he had no more tears left to fall and just cried silently until exhaustion hit and Mitsuki sent him back to bed. Luckily it was a Saturday so he wouldn't have to worry about school but both of the Bakugos had a feeling their son would need more than two days to grieve. Once they saw their son was asleep, Mitsuki fell back into her husband's open arms and sobbed into his chest. His whispered words of comfort into her ears as he led her to their bedroom and let her cry herself to sleep as well. Neither his wife nor son were extremely emotional unless expressing their anger by shouting but they both felt more strongly than most realized. They held back their emotions by yelling in anger instead and today finally forced them to put down their masks.

Now that Masuru knew both his family members were going to be okay at the moment, he pulled out his phone. He listened to it ring four times before someone picked up. "Hello this is the Musutafupolice department, my name is officer Mayoi. What seems to be the problem?" "Hello officer, my name is Bakugo Masuru and I would like to file a case on child abuse." Masuru could hear keys being quickly typed on before the officer responded. "Okay sir, I'm going to transfer you to the child endangerment department, hold for one moment please." They requested and Masuru impatiently complied as he really had no choice. "Hello Mr. Masuru, this is officer Nagi. Can you state the name is the child for me?" "His name is Izuku Midoriya, he is ten years old, and he and his mother live near us." "Okay sir can you describe your reasoning for believing this boy is being abused and can you provide physical proof?" "Yes officer, I can. Would it be best if I brought them with me to the station or have someone come to the home to collect the evidence?" "It would be best for an officer to collect it, give us your address and a detective will be dispatched to your house shortly." Masuru gladly provided his address to the officer and he heavily sighed once the call was over.

Less than an hour later, a knock sounded from the front door and Masuru was still the only one awake. He hurried to open the door and was met by an exhausted looking man in a trench coat and an officer with the head of a cat. The tired father quietly thanked them for coming and lead them to the room him and Mitsuki had been secretly adding to for the past two years or so. They kept it all in a safe, hidden from their boys, and it was filled with Izuku's prescription bottles, his supposed medicine files, a phone used only to text Inko about Izuku, the address and phone number of Izuku's "doctor", and more. Both the detective and his assistant seemed very impressed and thanked Masuru for his hard work making their job much easier. It provided them all the evidence they needed to make multiple arrest, request a warrant to search the house, and begin an investment of the doctor. Masuru thanked them again and provided them with Hisashi Midoriya's number as well and what hours worked best to call as the man knew Izuku's father would be furious but do everything humanly possible to help.

While all this went on, Izuku had just fallen into a deep sleep after crying on the phone to his father. He let himself slowly fall down the rabbit hole as he didn't have the energy or motivation to fly down faster and finally landed on the ground with a thunk. Cheshire Cat appeared above his head with a rare frown as he laid on the ground with eyes still red from crying. "Come on Zuk! We got places to be! Places to go!" The cat said in an attempt to cheer the ten year old up and sighed as he barely gained a response. He snapped his fingers that cats aren't supposed to have and whisked himself and Izuku over to the others. Izuku gave them a weak smile as they said hello and the White Queen sadly smiled back. "Oh you poor dear, please don't force yourself to smile, it makes me ever so sad to see you like this..." She said and stopped as she realized she was only making Izuku feel worse and guilty for making them upset.

Seeing this, the Red queen of hearts decided to push her sister away and spoke up. "Don't start being an idiot and listen to my stupid sister. She doesn't know what she is saying. You be sad all you want just don't force your self to smile, it makes you look bad!" She huffed out and make Izuku softly smile as she reminded him so much of his and Kacchan's sibling like relationship. The March Hare saw his smile as well and smiled widely as he hopped forward and thrust a tea cup into his hand. "Tea time! It's tea time so smile!" He then hopped off to share his tea with the others. This caused the Red queen to fall into a tizzy and yell at him for ruining their moment while Izuku watched the chaos as he sipped on his blueberry tea.

"Well now!" Hatter said as he suddenly appeared next to Izuku with a smile, "What color should we make your hair now!?" Izuku just looked at him confused and jumped as Alice appeared on his other side nearly spilling tea on himself. "I think blue would look good with his eyes." Hatter hummed in agreed as the twins Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum walked over to join the conversation and Dee pipped up claiming he would look good with red. However Dum hated the idea and shoved his brother shouting white. Alice just laughed at the brother's antic and Hatter walked off for a moment before returning with an arm full of fabrics of every color. He began to pull out a large amount and wrapped it around Izuku's head and glare before shaking his head and throwing it away. He tried blue, lime green, red, white, yellow, orange, pink, neon pink, dark red, and black but was unhappy with them all. The others had joined after the third color and had called out the other colors until a deep tired sounding voice mentioned grey. It was the blue caterpillar and he puffed out grey smoke from his spot on his leaf and Izuku smiled. They had found his new hair color.

"Can someone explain to me why I need a new hair color?" Izuku asked out of curiosity and the red queen of hearts just looked at him in disappointment. "You can't just runaway and stay looking like you do now! You're one of the only kids out there with green hair!" "Can I get a hair cut then too Hatter?" Izuku asked and arguments were thrown around once more as they all tried to decide on a disguise. In the end he received an undercut with the roots still the black of his natural hair and blended in grey through the rest with the tips almost light enough to be white. Hatter had done an amazing job but the Queen of Hearts still wasn't satisfied. She pulled out her makeup bag and added a bit of makeup to his freckles. It was a few shades too light but the White Queen was happy to help as she put a bit of her makeup on him as well to blend it in. Izuku's disguise was now complete and he was ready to face the real world once more!
