Only a few hours had passed since Izuku's forced visit and it was time for school again. He had yet to tell anyone about what took place but the slightly haunted look in his eyes and heavily bandaged hands clearly held a story underneath them. Sleep had seemed to evade him for most of the night and he was still extremely mentally exhausted which was partially why he couldn't sleep as his mind wouldn't calm down. Izuku quickly got ready and for first time in months his mother offered to drive him to school. Feeling terribly suspicious but not wanting to make him mother more angry, he just nodded and followed her to the car. He watched the scenery carefully and mentally sighed in relief when the school came into his view.

However, confusion and his suspicion grew as Inko parked the car and began to get out. Extremely nervous about his mother's next moves, Izuku rushes after her and watches helplessly as she announces to his principal that he unfortunately has been diagnosed with Schizophrenia. She pulls a document Izuku had never seen before, out of her purse and hands it to the man. "Well I'm terribly sorry to hear such news Izuku!" The principal says sadly but Izuku remains silent not wanting the man's unnecessary pity. Inko quickly speaks up in apology, "He hasn't been taking the news too way, he still believes his Wonderland is real and we are waiting for his medicine to come in but it will take a few weeks to fully kick in. All I ask is that his teachers are made aware of this and can keep a close eye on my baby for me while he is at school." Izuku continues to listen to the two adults discussing him as if he is t there and his worry grows as Principal Itu promises to inform his teachers.

Like promised, Izuku's principal does inform his teaches and does so in the hallway for plenty nosey children to overhear. News quickly spreads and many of his classmates snicker at the mention of the kid who's quirk made him crazy. Katsuki defends him as usual and is complemented for wanting to be a hero and protect his friend but his actual words are ignored. Both boys were only seen for their quirks, one being blessed and the other unfortunately cursed. When Mitsuki found out, she immediately let the principal know of her disapproval of his carelessness towards the entire situation with a silent Masuru behind her with a rare look of anger on his face.

Despite the teasing in the past, school used to be one of Izuku's favorite part of his days, but he was no longer simply teased. Many took it upon themselves to constantly remind him of his mental illness and mock him by telling him they had imagery friends too. A rare few would physically hurt him as well, claiming his craziness was a danger and that he didn't belong here but that was only when someone managed to get Katsuki away from his side. His mother didn't help the situation either. She would always claim things will get better and had even begun to slip his meds into his food due to his hatred towards taking them.

The problem with taking medication for something you don't have is unknown side effects. Most side effects for medicine are bad enough when given to some one who needs them. They also vary from person to person and Izuku most definitely got the short end of the stick. Many schizophrenics have paranoia and medication calms it but with no need for the medication, it causes Izuku to be filled with anxiety. This leads to insomnia as his anxiety riddled mind refuses to calm down and slow down enough to sleep. It causes his focus to fizzle away and makes him unable to go into Wonderland as much as he can't fall asleep or focus long enough to enter. He can still bring people from wonderland to himself but it isn't the same. Wonderland had become his safe space to relax and with that taken away, his moods dropped and a small depression fell in. So he was soon a young ten year old boy on Schizophrenia and antidepressant medication which also took away his appetite.

His mother's actions were slowly killing him and Izuku was done. Terrified of what would become of him if he stayed much longer, Izuku was ready to run for his life. After dealing with the chaos that had become his normal, Izuku packed up and spends the night with the Bakugos. Their family was smart and he knew they knew something was up as Mitsuki once more begged him to let them help him. Like always he refused as he hated his mother but a part of him didn't want to see her punished for doing what she thought was best for him. Leaving early the next morning before anyone else woke up, Izuku left a letter apologizing and made his way towards his secret spot.

Izuku had discovered this spot one day when he had ran off to escape for a bit and explored Dagobah beach. The surrounding area was basically run down or entirely abandoned and boarded up. With a little help from a random pipe he found on the beach, Izuku pulled some boards off, hidden behind a pile of boxes and walked around. It was a bit moldy but the structure was still sturdy and free for the taking. From then on, Izuku had begun to fix the inside up but left the outside untouched to avoid drawing anyone's attention. Having now officially run away, Izuku pushes the boxes away and pulled the old wooden board he used as a cover.

He watches from a well hidden window as the sun rises and grabs an old phone he build from scraps found on the beach. He dials a well memorized number and listens to it ring three times before his father answers. "Dad I couldn't take it anymore..." "Izuku I need you to calm down real quick, what are you saying!?" Izuku sobs as he explains him running away and admits to everything his mother had been putting him through. He listens as his father begs him to stay with the Bakugos and promises just a little longer till he could come back home but Izuku a little longer was more like a lot longer and whispers "Love you papa..." and hangs up.

AN : I am aware the Schizophrenic medication does not normally cause these types of side effects as I did do a little research but it is for the sake of the story and due to him not having Schizophrenia it is impossible to know how it would effect someone being treated for it when they don't have it. Again sorry if I offended anyone with Schizophrenia in this chapter, it won't be mentioned too much after this.
