Chapter 55 and 56

Luke's pov
I fidgeted in the suit Demri and Susan picked for me,they insisted that they'd take me tux shopping while the guys took Eddie to a different tux shop."is this one also not good?"Shelli asked,she decided to tag along with us(and I'm glad she did cause she's the only one with common sense).I shook my head no,feeling a bit irritated."you know,"I sighed as I took off the tie,"I think I know what the problem is."Shelli said.Demri looked at her while biting her nails,"well what's the prob?"she asked."yeah,enlighten us oh great one."Susan joked,Demri giggled.Shelli jokingly rolled her eyes,"the problem is that we're the ones picking out the suits,when in reality it should be Luke."she explained.

Eddie's pov
"No."

"Ah come on Cornell,why not?"

"Yeah I'm on Eddie's side for this one,why not?"

"Because it's a wedding Layne!"Chris protested,"I mean,would you wear shorts at yours and Demri's wedding?"he asked.Layne smirked,"well..."he trailed off."let's just say...we wouldn't really have any clothing."he said,giving us a look."Ugh!"Chris exclaimed in disgust,Layne began to laugh.I couldn't help but to laugh along with Layne as he became hysterical,I guess grossing out Chris makes him laugh easily.

Shelli's pov(wow that's new)
"Is Luke ready?the ceremony's about to start soon."Susan asked me."I'm not sure,let me go grab him."I replied,she nodded and walked off.I walked down the hall and made my room Luke was in,"Luke?"i knocked on the door.I could hear sniffles coming from behind the door.concerned,I opened the door and saw Luke with tears rolling down his eyes.I widened my eyes,"Luke,"I closed the door behind me and walked towards him."what's wrong?"I asked,"I-It's nothing..."he lied.I stood up straight and gave him a look,"you can't lie to me Luke,"I reminded him.he didn't look at me,I sighed and crouched down."Aren't you excited to get married?"I asked,grabbing his hands and holding them.

He looked and me and took a deep breath,"I just...wish my parents were supportive...then they'd be here with me."my heart broke.Eddie had told me about Luke's past,and how he's been going to therapy for the trauma they gave him when he came out to them.I stood up,"come on."he looked at me."what?"I sighed and held out my hand,"I'm gonna walk you down the aisle."i widened his eyes and stood up,"you...you'd really do that for me?"He asked."Luke,you're like a brother to me.I care about not only you,but for everyone in our friend group."I pointed at the door,"everyone that we know is waiting out there to see their best friends getting married,"I reminded him."do you really want to leave them waiting?"I asked,he shook his head no.
