Eddie hummed a tune as he tried his best to make Luke fall asleep,it broke my heart seeing him like this."April?"I turned around and saw Layne,"oh hey Layne,what's up?"I greeted him."Matt said he needs you outside,something about losing his lucky necklace?"I smiled and jokingly shook my head,I bought Matt this really cool drumstick necklace about 5 months into our relationship,and ever since then he's never taken it off.in fact,one time he nearly had a panic attack because he thought he lost it."alright,alright,I'm on my way."I assured Layne,I patted his shoulder and walked past him.
Matt's pov
"She's coming!"Ben whispered loudly,"it's now or never Matt."Kim said."you got this."Chris assured me,patting my back.him and Kim ran off to the bush Ben was hiding me,leaving me all alone."alright Matt where did you-"April cut herself off when she saw the cute little setup I prepared,"Oh Matt..."she gently placed her hands on her chest."I..."I trailed off,I could feel my hands starting to get sweaty."Matt?"I took a deep breathe and exhaled,"April,"I walked towards her."when we first met I was immediately smitten."I grabbed her hand and held it,"I can't imagine my life-no-my future without you beside me."she smiled and began to tear up.
her face changed from happy to shocked when I slowly got down on one knee,"it's taken me a while to have the courage to do this,"i gently let go of her hand and dug into my pocket."but I'm ready now."I pulled out the box,April gasped and covered her mouth with her hands."April Acevez,will you marry me?"I asked,my voice shaking.April slowly got down on her knees and held onto my shoulders,"yes."she replied,her voice breaking a bit.i began to cry tears of joy,April began to cry as well.
