Eddie's pov
It seemed like it was going to be a normal average day today,so then why couldn't it be?Stone and Mike were playing video games,Jeff and Luke were coming up with song ideas,and i was just chilling.
Then,everything changed.
The phone rang,so since I was near it I decided to answer it."hello?"I answered,"Eddie...it's me."Chris answered."oh,hey dude what's up?"I asked,there was silence for a moment."Dude...you need to turn on the news."he said,I raised an eyebrow in confusion."ok,"I put the phone down for a moment,"hey guys,stop playing for a moment and turn on the tv."i said to Stone and Mike."but we're about to win!"Mike whined,"JUST FUCKING DO IT!"Chris yelled through the phone."alright,alright,Jesus."Stone said,he shut off the game and turned on the news.we all gathered around the tv,the phone still in my hand.
"I'm sorry to interrupt this program,but it is related to music and it is sad news.Music has officially died once again,as frontman of Nirvana Kurt Cobain was found dead in his greenhouse from an apparent suicide.as many of you know he was in a coma when touring with Nirvana in Europe and was sent to rehab twice,he will be greatly missed and we know that music will never be the same ever again."
We all stood there,shocked.none of us spoke a word:Luke was shaking,Stone and Jeff's eyes were widened,and Mike and I just stood there."Eddie...what the fuck are we gonna do?"i heard Chris' voice say though the phone,but I couldn't move.the phone slipped out of my hand and fell to the floor,tears began to pour down my cheeks as I began to shake.
