"I'm s-sorry Inko. You don't have to d-deal with me. You c-can go be h-happy. I w-won't kill myself I'll take care of our pup. O-or if you'd rather you can have them after their born. They'd be happier with you anyway. I don't have to stay alive. Be happy p-please." She let me finish. Brushing my hair with her fingers before answering. "I am happy with you. So so happy. I want you and our pup. I want you with me and alive." She kissed me, letting the tears roll down my face. "You are so perfect baby. My perfect Toshi. I'm right here with you. My perfect Toshi. Okay?" I nodded. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. "Don't be sorry baby. It will all be okay. I've got you pretty boy. Breath. Just breath. So good baby." I pulled myself further into her grasp. "I d-don't want to make you m-mad." She gently shushed me, rubbing my back. "It's perfectly okay baby. I'm not mad. Why don't we turn off the TV and you take a nap. I got plenty of sleep last night. I'll be here awake the whole time." I thought for a moment, shaking my head. "N-no. Please no. I don't want to. Don't want to hear that again." She kissed my nose, looking me in the eye. "Even if you hear those things again I will be right here to tell you they aren't true." She played with the back of my hair, laying my head back down. She kissed my head and began humming. I closed my eyes but was careful to stay awake. She began petting my back and it became harder to stay awake. "Please no Inko," I whispered. "No what baby?" She continued humming. "Don't make me sleepy," I drawled out, feeling sleepier by the second. "I'm not doing anything baby. That's all you. All your brain being sleepy." She hummed again and it was like my body was too heavy to hold. "N-no it's not. I d-don't want to sleep." She shushed me and continued her humming. "Good boy. Just sleep. I've got you." I slowly fell asleep, trying my best to fight it.
