"I still don't get why they call him zombie boy," Max tells the duo next to her. Her, Stacy, and Lucas are walking together to class. "I mean, I get it. He got lost in the woods for a week or something, but why is he a zombie? Because everyone thought he was dead?" Max continued.
"Yeah. I mean, we had a funeral for him and everything." Lucas answered Max. She was confused. If he got lost in the woods for one week, why have a funeral?
"After a week?" Max asked again.
"Well, see, some other kid drowned at the quarry. They thought it was Will because his body was super decomposed." This time, it was Stacy that answered.
"What?" Max asked, super confused. "Okay, that's not funny."
"It's not a joke, all right? It's public knowledge. You can ask anybody. Except Will, because he is really sensitive about it." Lucas answered. "Okay."
"Wait, but how did they find him? Like, where was he?" Stacy asked Lucas.
"I'm telling you, he was in the woods."
"Yeah, but why couldn't they just find him earlier?" Stacy asked, still very curious.
"I guess they didn't look hard enough." Lucas answered her. They finally stopped at Max and Lucas' class. Stacy had a different class. She had Math, but her classroom was on the opposite side of theirs. And they all walked to their classes.

It was finally lunch time. Stacy walked to her locker to stuff her books in, but next to the locker stood her new friend, Dustin.
"Come to AV club, it's super important." Dustin spoke.
"Okay..? Let me put my things first, though." She put all of her books in her locker and locked it. Dustin stood patiently waiting for her, and she went with him.
Once they went in, she saw the whole group. Lucas, Mike, Will, and Max. She stood next to Mike and Dustin.
Dustin opens his Ghost Busters box from the day before, and everyone leans in to look. What was inside it was a weird-looking creature. Something none of them have seen before.
"His name is d'Artagnan." Dustin spoke, breaking the silence. He picked up the creature so they could see it clearer. "Cute, right?"
"D'Artagnan?" Mike asked.
"Dart for short." Dustin answered Mike. Stacy was actually amused by the creature, but terrified also.
"And he was in your trash?" Max asked for clarification.
"Foraging for food," He looked up at Max. "You wanna hold him?"
