chapter (007): "alien" hunting

episode 3 (part 2) & episode 4 (part 1): The Pollywog & Will the Wise

"East is clear. No sign of Dart." Mike spoke through the walkman. Stacy was looking near the lockers and labs.

"West is clear too. Will?" Dustin added.

"South is clear. Lucas? Anything?" Will responded. However, it was taking time for Lucas to answer. Stacy could hear that he was getting yelled at by a teacher.

"Nothing here man." Lucas finally answered.

Stacy kept on searching for the other-world creature. She walked into chemistry labs, art rooms, and unlocked classrooms. Even to the janitor's closet-actually, she grabbed a broom from there just in case the creature attacked her.

Hesitantly, she decided to check the AV room. Maybe Dart went back there.

"I'm going back to AV room." Stacy spoke through the walkman.

"Why?" Asked Dustin.

"Maybe your totally friendly pet went there for you." Stacy said sarcastically.

"Great."

Stacy walked a few halls, sweating and shaking. If Dart was really there, it's either her life's at risk or she'll actually capture it and give it back to Dustin-or possibly to Mike since Dustin has a strange bond with this "pet".

Finally. This is it. She's in front of the room.

She slowly takes a step towards the door. She gulps, here goes nothing. She pushes the door open slowly as it creaks. Her heart rate growing rapidly.

To her surprise, there's no sign of the living creature. She sighs.

Suddenly, she jumps from the sound of her walkman, dropping it and the broom. "Guys," Will started.

"I found him."

Couldn't he have said that sooner? She wondered as she grabbed the walkman.

"Where?" Dustin asked.

Will answered, "In the bathroom by Mr. Salemo's."

"Copy that," Mike responded.

Stacy picks up her broom from the floor, holding it firmly. She runs to the place Dart and Will are at.

She goes up the stairs, then to the bathroom, finding Dustin there hiding Dart under his cap.

"What the hell are you doing?" Stacy asks.

"Uh... Um..." Dustin tried to explain.

"Go on." Stacy raised an eyebrow.

"Just don't tell anyone about this, okay?"

"No, Dustin-" She was interrupted by the sight of the trio.

"Where's Dart?" Mike asked, followed by Lucas and Max. Stacy looked at Dustin, knowing he would most likely lie.

"I don't know. Not here." Lied the boy, then he glanced at Stacy, signaling for her to not snitch.

"What?" Mike questioned in disbelief, slamming open a bathroom stall.

"He said by Salemo's, right?" Max asked.

"Yeah. Maybe Will has him." Dustin said again, acting clueless.

Mike paused. "Where is Will?"

"Come on!" Lucas said while running out of the bathroom, followed by the group.

They all looked for Will in the halls. Dustin, Max, and Stacy were together calling out for Will.

"Dustin!" A woman who looked like she was in her fourties called out, stumbling into the trio.

"Mrs. Byers?" Dustin asked in confusion, Stacy and Max realized that this was indeed Will's mother.

"What's going on? Where's Will?" Mrs. Byers asked.

"The field!" Lucas ran into the building.

They all ran after him, seeing Will standing still with Mike trying to... get his attention?

Will, however, looked very concerning. He wasn't just standing still-his eyes were rolled to the back of his head and he was not moving.

"I just found him like this! I think he's having another episode!" Yelled Mike.

"Will? Will! Will!" His mom exclaimed repetitively.

Everyone is surrounding the Byers. Stacy was so confused. She's never seen anything like this before. Neither has Max. It seems like the rest of the group already knew about this, but the girls clearly didn't.

"Sweetie, wake up! It's mom! Will!" Mrs. Byers kept repeating. "Will, wake up! Can you hear me?"

Everyone stood frozen. No one knew what to do and no one understood what was happening.

"Wake up! It's mom! It's me!"

At last, he woke up.

i missed writing about june, so definitely gonna do that next chapter :)
