Eleven settled in the cabin during her eleven months stay. It was now October 29th. Throughout the eleven months, her sister continuously tried to get closer to her, but Eleven never gave in. Surely she was just scared and was not one to trust people easily. Hopefully that would change soon.
June didn't always go out, due to her lack of social skills. The only people she was kind of friends with were Nancy Wheeler and Jonathan Byers. She did one thing with them in November of 1983, and that was fighting an alternate dimensional monster. Steve Harrington-or as some might call him, King Steve, fought it with them too. He saved June from getting eaten by that monster.
As much as she hated Steve, from that day she didn't hate him as much as before. He at least could've slightly changed, but she needed proof to be sure of it. Before the monster hunting happened, June got in a fight with Steve and his friends because they spread rumors about her friend, Nancy, being a 'slut'. Ever since that day, they haven't had a real conversation.
Aside from her poor 'social life', June still had her father. She loved him to bits and was so grateful to have him. He always tried to be a good father to her, and tried to support her in every way he could. Jim Hopper was the best dad she could think of, and the best chief of police in Hawkins.
June didn't know about things like the gate, El, and the upside down because her dad wouldn't tell her. Once he found out she was fighting the faceless monster, he immediately forced her home. He didn't want her in danger like the others. He didn't even want the kids either but he had no choice because they were helping him understand the concept of it more.
Although she had a good father-daughter relationship, she couldn't feel the same way about her relationship with her new so-called sister. The only time they "get along" is when June makes Eleven eggos, but that's about it.
Eleven always felt stuck in that cabin, she missed Mike, she missed her friends. Her friends that gave her a place to sleep in. Her friends that cared for her. Her real friends. Here, she just felt lonely. She wanted to get out so badly, then again, Hop kept saying he was making progress day by day. She tried to be as patient as possible.
"Morning," June said as she walked to the table, rubbing her eyes and yawning. Then she took a seat and quickly ate her food.
"What are you doing after school?" Her dad asked looking at her.
"I'll just get home, nothing important." She answered and he just nodded. El was enjoying her meal. Her meal was Eggos, obviously, and orange juice.
