Jenna pushed Richard's hands away. "No." She got up and buttoned her shorts awkwardly.

Richard gave her a questioning look. "Jen..."

She shook her head. "I'm.... I'm not that type of girl, Richard. Has it been that long since we broke up that you don't even remember?"

He looked down. "No. But it felt like a long time, and I've been deprived of you for so long..." he trailed off.

Jenna nodded. "But please... don't do that again. Until we're... you know... married... if we even get married..."

Richard looked away, ashamed. "Sorry."

Jenna smiled. "No it's fine. I just... I'm not ready for this... I'm just...." she stopped talking.

Richard hugged her tightly. "I'm sorry Jenna. Just remember... I love you."

She nodded into his shoulder. "I love you too."

He picked her up and twirled her around, then planted a bright kiss on her soft lips.

Matt was so sad... Jenna had been a wonderful Clara Oswald... But now he would have to start working with some other actress. Without Jenna.

Moffat called him. "Matt there's this one girl who auditioned for the new companion... I think she's good, but you gotta get over here now so I can make sure you guys work well together."

Matt got in his car and rushed to the studio, finding a pretty blonde girl grinning at him, hands on hips.

"Hi! I'm Lily. Lily James."

Matt stared at her for a moment, then shook his head like a wet dog to clear his brain. "Um... Hi. Matt. Matt smith."

Lily giggled. "I know who you are. You're the hottie Doctor. Everyone loves you. You and David Tennant are the hottest doctors. But I must say..." She surveyed his body up and down. "... I think you're the hottest Doctor."

Matt flushed. "Um..."

Lily smiled at him. "Don't be shy! You're too cute!" She poked his nose, much to Matt's surprise.

Moffat walked in. "Stop flirting, Lily. You're always doing that. If you don't stop, I'll be forced to not hire you. Can't have a flirt on the cast."

Lily fluttered her eyelashes at Matt before flouncing after Moffat as he led them to the darker part of the studio, where they would do their first reads together.

Matt watched her curly dyed blonde hair bounce up and down, transfixed at the way the curls glinted in the murky sunlight. She was hot, no denying that. Maybe, just maybe, he could get over Jenna-Louise Coleman and move on to someone who was maybe, hopefully, meant for him. He certainly wished he could forget the fiasco at last rehearsal's read.

The moment they started reading together, something clicked. Each word out of both of their mouths sounded like they had each been practicing together since the beginning of time, like they really were going through the events Moffat had conjured up with that mysterious, evil brain he had.

As they finished the last words, Moffat broke into a round of applause. "Perfect! Amazing! I think that was actually better than when Matt first read with Jen-" He broke off, but Matt didn't notice— he only had eyes for Lily, whose deep brown eyes, so much darker than Jenna's bright, chocolate ones, twinkled at him.

Moffat snapped his fingers in Matt's face. "Matt? Matt?! Stop it! Snap out of it!"

Matt blinked and rubbed his eyes. "Uh, yeah, what? Sorry, I was just... daydreaming..."

Moffat rolled his eyes, but Lily let out a high-pitched giggle. "Oh, Matt! You are just too cute!" she squealed, laughing.

Matt blushed, but at the same time, he felt pleased with himself, since he'd just made the gorgeous Lily James laugh.

Jenna wanted to make up with Matt. She felt terrible after fighting with him, and even though she had Richard back, not being friends with Matt didn't feel right to her. Taking a deep breath and gathering all her pride and stuffing it away, she knocked on his door three times.

Knock, knock, knock.

She rocked back on her heels, waiting for the door to reveal the familiar face. But when it opened, it was accompanied by another face.

"Jenna!" Matt stared. "What are you doing here?"

Lily, her arms wrapped around Matt's neck, spoke up. "Matt? A girl? You told me you've never had a girlfriend before me!"

Matt kissed the top of her head. "She was never involved with me. She just... acted with me. On Who," he lied through his teeth.

Jenna stumbled backwards in astonishment, but didn't mention anything. "I... I just wanted to say... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you."

Matt's eyes bored into hers. "I can't forgive you for what you did. Cheating on me, then kicking me out of your apartment like I wasn't even worth the dust on your shoes..." he spat out angrily.

Jenna looked up at him. Despite four-inch heels, he still towered over her, but Jenna didn't let his height make her intimidated- in fact, being shorter than him made her look fiercer, because the anger stayed in a smaller package. She didn't want to say anything to him. She just wanted the words 'apology accepted', and she would turn right back around and return to her Richard. But being with that blonde, who wasn't even that pretty, right after their breakup... Unacceptable. (Yeah, Jenna's being a bit of a hypocrite right now, considering she's with Richard. Sorry. :P)

"And who is the blonde?" she asked, nearly spitting fire.

"Lily. Lily James. And she's better than five of you combined," Matt retorted.

Jenna's eyes widened. "Oh, say that one more time... One... more... time..." she said threateningly, her eyes flashing.

"Okay. I will. Lily is better than five of you- actually, make that ten of you- combined." Matt held a little smirk on his face- but not for long.

"Oh, Matthew Smith, you. Have. HAD IT!" she shrieked, and she slapped him across his face. Hard. Everything he had ever done wrong to her, every single wrong word he uttered to her, all the pain from those times were incorporated into that heavy slap.

Jenna backed away from his front door, tears threatening to spill down her face. 'I thought I knew you! I thought you were my friend, my closest, most forgiving friend, but I know who you are now! You are the biggest. Mother-fucking. Bitch. In. The. World."

And with that, she ran down the driveway sobbing and into her car, her vision blurred by tears as she turned the keys in the ignition and started driving.

But she didn't see the car pulling out of the driveway behind her, coming straight into the direction of her car.

"JENNAAAAAA!!!!!!!!"
